The ramp is rather steep and slippery. We had to put indoor/outdoor carpet on it and after 2 weeks now our dogs still aren't comfortable with it.

I purchased a shorter adjustable ramp for interior, and then bought two of these (longer) plastic ramps for exterior. Like all the reviews say, your dog will find this slippery, so I purchased one-inch grip tape at the same time. Though I am a DYI person, you don’t have to be to add the grip tape. Just cut it into 12-inch strips, fold lengthwise, then cut along the fold, remove the backing and apply to raised steps on ramp. Yes, it’s tedious, but the ramp would be worthless without it. (I applied 2-inch grip tape between the steps on the carpeted interior ramp I bought also.). The price is a fraction of the cost of other ramps, and anything I can do to avoid a second back surgery for the pup is worth any amount of tedium. I just placed an order for a third ramp for the front steps.

Good price. Surface is plastic and not very well designed for traction by the dog. Should have some sort of carpet installed on the surface.

This is a great ramp. Been using it for over a year. Durable. Great size. No issues. I would buy it again. My Corgis love it to get in and out of our camper.
