Fluke Networks Electrical Contractor Telecom Kits are comprised of industry standard telecommunications tools and test equipment. The Fluke Networks 11290000 Electrical Contractor Telecom Kit I is designed for technicians who install, test and troubleshoot phone and data lines. The kit's TS30 has high impedance DataSafe operation so technicians can clip onto a line in monitor mode, without disrupting existing data traffic. The set includes the D814 industry standard punchdown tool for reliable terminations, an EverSharp 66/110 cut blade provides flexibility for different block and jack terminations, and a cable stripper that quickly rings and slits many types of cable. Use the probe pic to check for loose or damaged connections and cut and strip wire cleaner and faster with the Electrician’s D-Snips. Connect to jacks for testing with the standard 4-wire modular adapter and keep all of your tools in the zippered pouch. The Fluke Networks 11290000 Electrical Contractor Telecom Kit I with TS30 Test Set is covered by a limited warranty and is sold one set per package.

Needed to buy an additional banjo for CAT6 ports. But this will last a long time. Super durable butt set. The case keeps everything in one place and i store additional IT items inside it as well.

66 punchdown blade is really dull and useless. The pick is cheap plastic junk. Scissors are good, stripper ok.Ended up tossing the pick and the punchdown tool and putting my old home depot one in the bag. Not only are its blades super sharp, but the tool has built in steel picks.The bag is handy though. Lots of room for more tools and supplies.

I was at first hesitant to spend the money on this kit bc the pictures were nonexistent but Im glad I bought it. Fluke is well built telephony equipment the case is nice as well definitely worth the price.

It seems study and well made. I was surprised that the phone did not have a speaker phone built in it, and there is no volume control. Otherwise it is fine. The punch down tool is okay at best. The blade is difficult to change and not very sharp. The case is nice and big enough to put other tools in it too.

I have always had very good luck with Fluke products.I have both Telephone test/install products, Network testing products, and electrical testing products and they are all very dependable and great build quality. I have used off brand phone test sets and other test equipment and they just do not have as solid of a build quality and feature set. I have never found a better punch down tool that those made by Fluke and this kit includes a wire stripper, scissors for stripping and cutting and a probe pick for pulling individual wires for tight spaces. Great case for them as well.

I have been in the telecom service industry for many years. This is a great value and the carrying case is large enough for me to add other tools.
