I needed a new privacy screen as my laptop is older and doesn't come with it automatically. I have been stuck with ones that use stickers and little edges to slide the screen in place. I never liked those. This one uses a sticker with magnets. Why did we not have these before? More sleek and list obtrusive, this worked great for my laptop. I measured to make sure the screen would fit my laptop screen. Fit perfectly and comes with a nice little sleeve to keep it from gettting scratched up. The privacy screen works great as it blocks the view from the sides. I like the matte side to reduce glare. Good purchase for the privacy conscious.

I was trying to work on my flight back from London earlier this month and the guy next to me just would not stop looking at my screen, and he was pretty blatant about it. I bought another version of this for my work laptop so I wouldn't have to stop working on a flight again due to nosy people. But then I thought about it and bought a second for my personal laptop. (Yes, on longer trips I often bring both.) Just like the one I bought for my work laptop, this fit my personal laptop perfectly, and it also came with a plastic file folder type sleeve to store the screen in if I want to take it off. I'm just going to leave it on though. The skinny lightweight little stick on magnet strips keep it in place even when I open and close my laptop, and I can still use my touchscreen through it like it isn't even there so why bother taking it on and off. And if you are sitting next to me, you can't see a darn thing on my screen. Perfect!
