I like that it has a professional look and was easy to assemble but it didn’t quite fit my needs. It was difficult to keep it at a particular height if I moved it too much, since it’s a tension screw, so it really didn’t fit my needs for holding and pinning garments for sewing. It’s pinnable but the foam type would disintegrate over time so it’s definitely for longer term displaying and not for a more frequent use such as sewing.

Everything I read in the reviews about the metal cap on top was true.... it didn’t even come attached. I had to put it on myself and the fabric of the dress form was just sitting loosely in the hole of the neck. I was like “Where are the instructions? Is this supposed to be like this? What am I supposed to do?”So yeah, you lose stars for not including ANY kind of instructions, literature, or ANYTHING that at least says “oh hey thanks for buying our product. This is what you should have received in your box; if something is missing this is who you should contact and this is how you reach us.”I’ve been reselling clothing online since 2017. This is my 2nd dress form. I’m impressed with the base and how sturdy it is compared to my old one that was made of wood and had the 3 tripod leg stand that wasn’t sturdy at all. So love this one way better. This one is also taller and the form itself is heavier, more substantial and wider than my last one - all great selling points and what I was looking for when shopping around to upgrade from my old one. I also love that this form has a much longer torso and waist area, which makes it easier to photograph entire outfits, as well as bottoms of any kind (see lavender velour track suit photo),I used glue dots to help hold the metal topper in place (a lot of them) and thought I was on my way to a much easier photo shoot process and nicer looking photos now that my little studio area was complete (I’d also invested in photography lighting). But after photographing a couple styles of clothing I quickly realized something wasn’t right - my dress form was wide like a woman but had barely any boobs!It wouldn’t be so noticeable or such a big deal on a smaller dress form, but since this one is so much larger (longer and wider) than the smaller wooden base ones, it’s not just noticeable, it’s a problem when trying to properly photograph clothing. Because it doesn’t fill the clothing out properly. (See blue polka-dot dress photo included).Unfortunately I’ve thrown the box out, so not sure if I can return, but hoping I just got a “dud” and the company can send me a new form that actually has breasts. Because I can’t work with a flat-chested dress form, no matter how sturdy the base is....UPDATE - Sent photos to the company and was told this is how the dress form is made. So… I’m stuck with Not-So-Big-Chested-Bertha (as I’ve started calling her). It took some getting used to, but since all the clothes I sell are sizes 12-18, they look a million times better on this dress form built for those sizes.

I bought this to model my clothes for my Poshmark store and it is well proportioned and fits my size 2-4 clothes as well at the size 8-10 and up. You can belt or pin it and it still has enough girth to make the sale.It was easy to assemble and it doesn't tumble over easily. I even use it to hang my way too heavy handbag sometimes and it doesn't budge. Stylish, sturdy. the little silver component around the neck pops off on occasion so this is the only non-issue issue. It looks great with or without the silver cap.

I'm so glad I bought this instead of the cheaper version. Based on reviews, I decided it was worth the extra money. This is sturdy. Easy to put together and well-made. I have it outside in 25-30 mph wind, and it's staying put. I bought a lazy susan to make it easier to turn. I use this for photos of clothing to sell online. She's exactly what I needed.

I upgraded from a less expensive mannequin and wish I would have just spent a little more and purchased this in the first place! These are professional quality, solid well made. I actually have two, this size and an 18/20. I use for my Poshmark biz and couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend. Also- get the lazy Susan they recommend, saves a lot of lifting and wear & year on your floor and the mannequin.

Good quality dress form. I do lots of bridal alterations and it does not tip over with a heavy bridal gown on it. The metal pole is adjustable with the turn of a knob on the pole. The base has a good weight so it is stable. The form is pinnable with straight pins. I have used this form for dresses larger than a 6-8 and use pins to help hold it and it does the job very nicely.

Finally a way to take quick and easy and professional photos. The mannequins are so much work. The other torso I got were not long enough. This is.. so the closes can be pulled all the way down the hips and fall nicely. The fabric cover is so great. It hold the garment in place. Biggest of all no wobble! Sturdy base! I bought a big quality lazy Susan and they work like a dream with my iPhone X S in portrait mode. I am splurging on the smaller size and retiring all my other mannequins except these two!
