After a short time, the light will turn green providing a visual cue for the child to know their worries are gone and to remove their hand.

I use this in my first grade classroom and have only needed it a few times since I ordered it at the beginning of the school year. Bought for my therapy office, kids are really reassured by it and it brings up great conversations about anxiety. 4 stars only because the recovery time on it could be a little faster.

It doesn't always work, the position of the fingers is a bit awkward. And I was hoping it would have a more authentic feel, but it's just plastic (that really in no way resembles wood up close).
