Don’t purchase, I replaced my old with this garbage. I am knowledgeable on replacing carb as I have owned this tool for many years. I finally took it into a small engine repair shop they couldn’t get the new carb operational. Luckily I kept my old one and had that 1 rebuilt by the shop. Works great now. These China products are trash. I purchase 2 different carbs 1 line trimmer and 1 pole saw both Stihl, neither purchased carb worked in the tool. Both tools were taken in and the repair shop couldn’t get them to work

Promptly received this item, but the included spark plug is not for a Stihl HT101 pole saw. I expected a NGK CMR5H or a Bosch USR7AC, or a direct fit replacement. The included plug is a different larger diameter than the spec’d plug type.Still a good deal even without the plug, but in my case, the plug was my main problem.

I bought this to replace the stock carb on a Stihl HT131 pole saw. After slapping it on, the saw fired up and ran fine. Very happy with that part. But there are two issues that concern me a bit - The kit does not include the “special tool” needed to adjust the high/low fuel mixture. Also, the accelerator cable on the HT131 does not fully seat into the swivel on the carb and therefore, cannot be properly adjusted. I fixed this be replacing the swivel with the one on the Stihl carb I replaced.

I have a Stihl HT 101 pole saw that I’ve only used a handful of times since I bought it brand new about 6 yrs ago. The last two years I couldn’t get it to run at full throttle it would die down and I had to throttle it back and forth just to get it fast enough to run to cut a twig. I tried cleaning the original carb (note I only used ethanol free gas but still had issues) put on new oem spark plug and cleaned exhaust screen to no avail. So I decide to just replace the carburetor with this new one and bam! I’m back to running like it was brand new at full throttle. I make a few adjustments with the special carb tool and it’s running top notch now. So happy with this replacement I was eagerly back out trimming trees again and saved me from taking it to the local dealer who by the way was 3 months behind on fixing anything and probably would have charged me an arm and leg to fix it. Great price and highly recommended.
