I bought these for a tea party event I attended. I didn't use the pearl earrings or necklace because they weren't right for the event, but I did try them out and the quality was fine and they looked great. I did wear the hat and gloves and they definitely heightened my spring dress to make me look classy for a tea party. The gloves fit well. I did not need to use the hairband with the hair clip and it was comfortable, stayed where I put it and didn't bother me. I could see how the hairband could be useful if clips bother you so I'm glad it was included.

This fascinator is great. Aside from being exactly as pictured (such a pleasant surprise!) It has the option to be worn on a headband or a metal alligator clip. There is a well stitched, perfectly sized fabric strip for either to slide through for a tight and secure fit so it won't be flopping around on your head. I did not expect much quality for such an affordable set, but they definitely prioritized the hat (as one should!) The pearls, on the other hand, I probably won't wear myself as I was fortunate enough to inherit some proper pearls from Grandma. These definitely look like cheap costume jewelry up close, but if you're going to a dimly lit costume party they would still be right on theme. After the party do what Im doing and find a little girl to gift these pearls to so she can play dress up and you don't waste room in your jewelry box. The gloves are not my style and I'm not planning to wear them either, but they are cute for a ladies' tea party type setting. I think the fascinator alone makes it worth the purchase, but if you don't already have the other items in your costume wardrobe (everyone has one of those, right? Not just me?) then this is a good starter set. Enjoy!
