I was dreading having to buy one of those overpriced adapters, so I’m super happy I found this one at nearly half the price of most others. I only have a NACS charger at home and wasn’t about to install a separate setup just for our new VW.This adapter is likely best suited for 220V home charging—it works great for that. I haven’t had the chance to try it at a Tesla Supercharger yet, but I’d guess it probably can’t handle the full power output of a supercharger. That said, how often do we really need maximum charging speed?For regular home use, this adapter is budget-friendly, and since they all do the same thing at the end of the day, there no need to overpay.

Seems well built and the connector locks work well. Smaller than some adapters, larger than others. Wish it went up to 80A for future proofing (since my wall charger is wired at 80A), but my existing car maxes out at 32A so kinda moot in any case.

This adapter enables me to charge my Hyundai at Tesla chargers, which has been a good experience. The charging speed is good. We have an 80 Amp Level 2 Tesla Charger on which I tested this adapter when charging an Ioniq with J1772 port and the functionality was great - I saw it rise above its rated 60 Amp rate briefly, but stay right up around 60 Amps for the bulk of the charge so far (it's ongoing right now). So it's very fast for an L2 charging adapter, and it's easy to use because it locks right in to both the NACS (Tesla) input and with the hook-lock at the J1772 (Ioniq) end, with the ability to charge non-Tesla cars being paramount in my estimation, making it a great value adapter. Very portable unit and dependable - I am not seeing any thermal throttling happening during this high-wattage charging. It's well made with a tough, thick plastic housing. I recommend this nice adapter!

There are so many things on the market that it’s hard to know the actual quality until it’s been used for a while. So my review is very basic for this item because it appears to do exactly what it’s supposed to do. It allows you to take a Tesla destination charger with a typical Tesla Connection and adapted into your J1772 connector on your CCS vehicle.Like that, it has a separate release for a Tesla plug itself as well as the release for J1772 on the car side.
