This is a good looking ear net, nice enough for showing in. The material is a little bit thicker than ones I’ve used before, and has a tight weave – definitely no bugs getting through. It's well made, with tidy and tight stitching and no loose threads.However, there is no way of securing the ear net on the horse, or attaching it to the bridle. Depending on your horse and your activities, that may be an issue. Other ear nets I’ve used either have a cord that fastens around the horse like a throat latch, or has tabs that let you slide it onto the crown piece of a bridle. This has neither, so sooner or later it's going to come off.

I wasn’t sure this ear net would fit since my horse has a cob-sized head, but it actually fit well. The headpiece is made of a breathable mesh material, and the overall design is stylish enough for the dressage ring. The only drawback was the shipping—it was ordered on April 22 and didn’t arrive until May 20. Still, the product itself met my expectations, so I’m giving it 5 stars.
