Code Lock Design
The original number is 0-0-0. To set your personal combination, follow these steps:
Need to snap the zipper into the lock hole.
1.Put the dials at original number 0-0-0.
2.Press down the reset button (a)with a tool until hear the "Click" sound.
3.Set your combination by turning the dials(b),for example 8-8-8.
4.Push the button(c) towards to the direction of arrow and the reset button(a) will be back when you hear the "Click" sound.
Now you have finished to set your personal combination.Please remember your personal combination by heart. You can repeat the above steps if you want to reset your password

In 2021 I had a fire in my home. The original fireproof file worked, so I went looking for a new one that is larger. This one is so good, even has pouches for passport and all the other important documents. It locks and fits in a closet easily. Take it from me, when a fire happens, one box has it all..

A lot of files can fit in this light compact well designed file bag. I would be doubtful of it being "fireproof" or "waterproof". More like possibly fire resistant or water resistant. If your house is engulfed completely in flames & this is in the middle of it all, I would be highly surprised if anything inside this case survived. I would be confident in saying it probably wouldn't catch fire if it were close to or grazed by flames though. Same goes for water submerging. The case itself is probably completely submersible with the exception of the zipper being the same as any other zipper on any other thing. If you have a hole in your roof and this case is getting rained upon while the lid is closed and zipped up I'd be surprised if the documents inside are ruined beyond use. The zipper lock is nice, but only for the purpose of being able to tell that someone has gotten into the case that didn't know the code. Anybody with a knife could easily get into the case one way or another. For what you pay for the case, this case is a very good buy in my opinion. I believe it will last for 10 years or longer through normal use in a normal household that takes normal care of their purchases, I'm confident it will last for a decade or more in our household. My conclusion is that the seller is over selling this item. It should be described as a fire resistant, water resistant, tamper resistant durable file case. Not "File box with lock, fireproof, and waterproof"
