I'm impressed with the RICHWORD embroidery thread set! The 15 popular colors are versatile and vibrant, and there are thread equivalents to other popular brands for this thread. The thread's 40 wt polyester construction ensures durability. So far I’ve only used the white on a monochromatic design and I loved it in my embroidery machine but I think it will run well in my long arm. The thread is easy to work with, and I've had no issues with breakage or shredding. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality and color selection of this thread set.

my new hyperfixation is embroidery so obviously I had to buy a whole bunch of supplies (iykyk). I don’t use a machine (just hand stitching for now), but so far the quality really stands out. The thread doesn't fray easily, which makes it way easier to work with as a beginner. I love that it’s machine friendly too, so if I ever decide to go that route I can still use the same thread. Great little package for beginners or pros!

I wanted to give myself time to use these threads in different situations, so I could give a fair review. The colors are vibrant, they spool off without catching, they stand up to dense, high speed stitching and even worked well for FMQ and ruler work. I’m very happy with the quality and will be purchasing again. These are just a few of the stunning colors in this collection

I love the selection of colors that comes in this kit. They are so bright and clean looking. I have been using them for machine embroidery and they have been coming out so beautifully. I was making the mistake of using regular thread and couldn't figure out why it was never coming out right. Now the finished product looks so good, I am so pleased with the results. The quality of the thread is really good and strong. Such a great starter kit, I love it.

I've been using Richwood brand thread in my Brother embroidery machine for awhile now and have had no difficulty with it ever. This thread is strong, no shredding or breakage, even in dense designs. This set of 15 colors includes the ones I use the most. I'm especially in love with the lime green thread, color #204. These are extra large spools - 4000 meters each, as in 2.5 miles of thread. See my photo of a standard size spool of embroidery thread next to the large white spool of this thread. I did a very large order of custom beach towels for a friend, with over 20,000 stitches per towel, and still have thread left on the spool. You'll need a thread stand for this large spool. A spool adapter may be all that some machines need to hold it, but I've found that standing the spool on the thread stand behind the machine is the most efficient way to manage these spools. The thread has a little sheen to it, which really shows up when stitched into a design, but its not glittery or overly shiny. The price for this set of 15 huge spools is a great value, I've previously spent $15 for just 1 spool of this size. If you like to embroider a lot, I'd recommend this set.

Was super excited to see this rainbow box of Richword #40 poly thread come in!So pretty. This 15 pack had a great selection to it. These are the BIG full size 4300 yd ( 4000 meters) cone. Definitely need to invest in a thread stand if you are going to use these on your home machine. It will make your life a lot easier :)I have a decent selection of some other common threads here in the us - see pic for my 40wt poly comparison. I'd say The Richword is very comparable to those shown in my picture. All very similar in quality. Richword is definately way better than some of the no-name thread that I purchased in big bulk quantities - I've done a bunch of top-stitiching with this thread and I've had no fraying, twisting, or breaking whatsoever in My home machines. I've even taken to doubling it up in my needle ( running two threads through the same path at once) for a super bold decor look. It works great. I see they even have a Madeira cross reference for those that do this professionally. While this gloss sheen is great, it makes me wonder if they also do a matte cottonized (or even cotton!) thread too!
