This is a true bosai. Sometimes growers put trees that are'nt true bosai in a bonsai pot, but this beautiful tree is a true bonsai. They do need more care than other plants and are'nt for amateurs. I will say also that mine was sent in excellent condition and I am very pleased with this tree.

The tree that I ordered came in a few days before the estimated arrival day and It was in great condition. It came with a care guide and recommendations for a few products to help with maintenance for the tree. I would definitely order from them again!

I received the tree in a timely manner it is as described. The reason for the 3 star is that I do not know if it will survive. When I first received the plant it dropped leaves daily and I had considered just returning it. However, I wanted to see if with time it would improve. It becomes a Catch 22. If I keep it longer and it dies I lose the ability to return it. While I began the return process I have kept the tree and I have serious doubts it is going to survive and I will have probably wasted my money.

Satisfied with the product but probably during the shipping the tree dried out a bit so upon receiving the tree I soaked it in water for a day and it came back to life and is doing fine after repotting and setting the branches to wire...thankyou .I've added it to my bonsai collection.

glad to get the tree, but it took 4 phone calls and a file a claim to get a LIVE one, first one came dead.

Perhaps after two poor reviews, this item was improved, but the one I received was just like the one pictured which might be enough to warrant five stars. But to make it even better this seems to be just about the perfect subject for bonsai-- sturdy stems, small leaves, and refined branch structure. It was not root bound and did not have a taproot which made it easy to transplant into a proper bonsai pot. I suspect this little wonder will be around for many years to come. Highly recommended.
