I've had other DUCO sunglasses that fit over one's normal glasses. Be sure to check to see that your glasses will fit as mine just barely fit these and the other DUCO sunglasses I have. The lenses block out a lot of the glare well with one glaring exception...the corner of my eyes get blasted a bit since the sides of the sunglasses are narrow so allow sunlight to enter from there. Some of their other models have a wider part over there with additional lenses for periphery vision. Other than that issue these sunglasses are great and well worth the price. Plus DUCO sunglasses are inexpensive enough that I don't worry about scratching them, etc.

These glasses are pretty nice. They fit right over my regular glasses. I don't go outside much, so I didn't see they need to spend a bunch of money on prescription sunglasses. These are a great alternative. Decent quality and do thier job well.

The first reaction i had when putting on these sunglasses was cool relief. It was an unexpected and strong feeling that was really pleasant and refreshing.I ordered the Black Frame Revo Blue Lens version of these DUCO polarized fit-over sunglasses. They fit over my normal eyeglasses fine without looking too bulky. The darkening effect of the sunglasses is great protection for the eye. And the polarizing effect is very useful for minimizing glare. The kit comes with an information booklet (which is quite basic and printed in several languages), a cleaning cloth. a polarizer test piece (which demonstrates how powerful the polarizing effect is), an eyeglass tether (think “croakie’s”) and the fit-over sunglasses. As would probably be expected for fit-over sunglasses, they do not fit super tight on the head. So a fast movement of the head could certainly fling them off. So these definitely function best with some kind of tether; And fortunately they come with a tether in the kit. The method of attachment between the included tether and the temple of the sunglasses was not immediately obvious. There is a small plastic “circle” that slides down to help keep the tether attached to the temple. Unfortunately this tether doesn’t seem to hold securely enough to be sufficient to keep the sunglasses from falling off. So - especially for energetic activities (like bicycling, volleyball, etc) - substituting a more secure tether would be best. But can these be worn without eyeglasses underneath ? Yes. They seem to work equally well as standalone devices without any eyeglasses underneath. So no worries there. As to the laptop test for polarization that is mentioned in the sales listing, that works as described. I found it fascinating to discover how much the screen dimmed when it was rotated 90 degrees from the normal orientation. (I found it much easier to rotate the laptop than my head since there are zero “owl genes” in my neck.)All in all these fit-over sunglasses are excellent for what they are designed for. They look good (especially for fit-over sunglasses since fit-overs can look hilariously clunky.) And they definitely have some of the most effective polarization i have ever encountered. But i would suggest a different and more secure “eyeglass tether” for active sports situations.

These are perfect for yardwork to wear over glasses. They are lightweight, fit well, and they stayed on. The style is a bit futuristic, but I really liked these glasses. A different kind of a look, but they blocked the sun brilliantly. Recommend, I hope that this helps.

I love the look of the purple mirrored lens on these sunglasses. I have my regular eyeglasses which darken up outside in the sun however when you are in a car they don't darken due to the polarized glass in car so I needed something to protect my eyes while driving. The lens is dark enough that they make it comfortable driving in bright light. The quality of the lens is good, there is no distortion. The frames are comfortable and have a spring loaded snap to them when closing. The sunglasses fit nicely over my eyeglasses. The one thing that you have to be careful with is to pay attention to the size of your eyeglasses that will fit inside the sunglasses. I have a pair of eyeglasses that are to big to fit inside, they are too tall and another pair that fits well. There is a cloth glass case and a neck lanyard to keep the glasses safe. I like wearing these while bike riding, they offer extra protection from debris and insects flying through the air.
