While it may seem more natural that a round valve seals the hole better, the DT Swiss valve does a great job and the square rubber prevents the valve from rotating and becoming permeable.

These worked great as replacements for the Mavic valve stems on my Mavic Open Pro UST Disk tubeless rims. I couldn't locate the newer Mavic rounded top UST tubeless valves here in the US.

These valves do not have a rubber grommet/seal and will leak unless they are used in anything other than a DT Swiss rim with an appropriate slot. Otherwise, the quality is good and the valves are replaceable.

These worked great in a tubeless setup with DTSwiss R460s. I tried some Schwalbe valves first and couldn’t get them to seal because of the crazy deep and narrow channel in the rims. Highly recommended for DTSwiss road rims!

If you have DT Swiss tubeless rims, these are a must. I had previously used Stan's universal valves, and was constantly getting bits of sealant bubbling out around the valve. If I tightened the valve too tightly, I was risking sucking the valve all the way through the inside hole.The DT Swiss valves fit perfectly into the inside groove of the rim, and there is no risk in over tightening. Worked great the first time, with not a drop of sealant escaping around the valve.
