Bikes are easy to rack for this 60 year young lady. Husband and I like this much better than your typical bike rack

My tips:-Use a silicone lubricant to help ease off, then on, rubber exhaust hangers.-Use a second person or a floor jack (or similar), to raise and hold receiver (see photo).-I was able to hold the bolt heads in place for the final step for all 4 by way of an adjacent hole in the frame. Made the scary part far easier. No concern about pushing bolt back into frame and having to start all over.Random thoughts:-Packaging was terrible. Deep scratches on receiver.-NO cutting of fender necessary, a huge plus.-Not a terribly bad install if your moderately handy.

Removing the muffler hangers takes a little convincing, and fishing those wires through is a fun little game too. Really not that bad, like people say watch a YouTube video and it's alright.

Solid product, the bolts lined up perfectly, tough to install as one person, but with some wood to elevate the back of the crv, it was a easy to install process!

Overall, what a great value. This thing was tricky to install with the 2022 CRV Touring's mufflers in the way. Instructions direct to remove exhaust hangers to gain clearance, but still tough if you have adult sized hands. Took about 60 minutes to install with two people and a jack to help lift the trailer assembly up to the car.Pros: Complete kit to get the job done. OEM rear hatch sensor still works but requires you to "wave" your foot for the sensor to catch your foot. Wife is happy that it still opens the hatch with groceries in hand.Cons: Inconsistent sized bolts. The 4 bolts (size M8) that go to the frame required two different socket sizes. The one bolt through the OEM rear tow point was a bigger bolt (M10 if I remember correctly) requiring another socket which makes sense. Another con, the torque required on the 4 bolts to the frame was difficult as there is no room to get a torque wrench under there. Conclusion: In any case, the tow hitch is sturdy and looks great. Don't forget to torque everything down to spec!

Highly recommend watching a couple YouTube videos to go over all the installation steps in order so you know what to expect. Be careful with the muffler braces and lowering the muffler. Installation went better than expected but strongly suggest getting a second person to help keep things lifted up. We've been pretty happy with the quality of the product and the connecting components. Already loaded up the new hitch with two adult bikes on a rack for a 6 hour road trip. We were more concerned with the actual bike rack than the new hitch.

Quedó perfecto en el modelo touring... hasta donde sé le queda a todas menos a la híbrida.

It fits perfect on my 2017 Crv LX. It is a good quality product comparing things sold at Amazon. The hardware( Bolts, nuts etc) is good quality too. I think price is also reasonable. I absolutely recommend it.

Installed on our 2021 Honda CR-V. Perfect fit. The only thing I had to modify was the flat bar that went on the bolt to go through the tow eye. The flat bar was about 3/4 inch to long to fit well. After a quick trim. It fitted perfectly. It's a well build product, very robust. I am completely satisfied with with this product.

When I decided my wife's 5th Gen. (2017-2022) Honda CR-V with the Sport Bumpers from Genuine Honda Accessories needed a trailer hitch, I began looking for a Class 2 receiver, mainly because I already had a Class 2 hitch and Class 3 just seemed like overkill for the CR-V's light towing capacity. However, the examples I found would have required some drilling and/or cutting on the bumper. I REALLY did not want to do any of that. So, when I found this Class 3 hitch should bolt up with no drilling or any other modifications, I pulled the trigger.Installation was simple enough—YouTube really is our friend!—except for removing and reinstalling the rubber exhaust mounts... Those were a b____! But, eventually, we got them off and (eventually, with a lot of silicone spray) on again. The Exhaust Removal Pliers from the auto parts store definitely helped.Since the install, we've only used it once to tow a U-Haul motorcycle trailer; for that, we had a ~3" drop hitch with a 2" ball. (For anything U-Haul, although a 1 7/8" ball is acceptable, a 2" ball is better.) Everything worked as expected.

I would have given this product 5 starts except the safety loop for the chains was welded on off-center. One loop is noticeably larger than the other side. The hitch came well packaged and completely undamaged. All part present. When I pulled the hitch out of the box, I laughed about how ridiculously heavy, strong and thick it was. The thick arms measured 11/32" (0.34375) Looking at what is attaches to on my 2018 CR-V, the extremely thin frame and sparse spot welds are definitely the weakest point of failure. That and the weak 1.5 L engine. The CR-V has uncommon rubber hangers with 2 posts on the muffler facing 1 post on the frame. It was very difficult to get them off with few options to set a pry bar. There isn't a hanger removal tool for this setup. I said F this and drove over to my neighbor's auto garage and put it on a lift. The mechanic brut forced these 2 and one other rubber hangers off while supporting the exhaust system at the Y with a transmission jack. Installing the hitch was very easy. While I supported the weight on my shoulder, my friend turned the nuts on the bolts I had easily fished in with the included fish wires. Putting the rubber hangers back on proved to be just as difficult. Luckily I was pushed out o the way by my friend when I failed to complete the task and he did it. I was fortunate to get out of this task with for the cost of a lunch to my friend.

This hitch is well built and fits well. It came with all the hardware necessary. However, as indicated in other reviews, it was shipped with minimal protection and arrived with the paint scratched on multiple places. I had to paint the bare metal to protect against corrosion before installing it. Installation is well explained and fairly easy.
