Easy to install and works well. It has come in useful more times than I expected, so I am happy with this purchase. I would have oved to get one with the lighting kit, but it would have not come in on time. I had to purchase that separately, but that is not a problem with this item. I am just recommending you go with the one with the light kit or you won't be able to two a trailer unless you by one separately.

I have a regular Nissan rogue SV, the product warns you not to get it for a sport or a krom, which is fine I don’t have either. The right side matches up the bolt holes. Left side matches up two bolt holes, but not the front bolt hole and interferes with the muffler hanger. I can probably cut and weld this thing make it work, but that would be dumb. Unfortunately I missed the return window on it because I was sick and they are extremely strict with the return policy on these which makes sense. It’s a large bulky heavy item.Based on what I’ve seen in some of the other reviews, it looks like this product truly does not fit any Nissan made after 2020 model year. I have seen other people with a 21 complaining basically the same thing. Not sure what I’m gonna do with it since I can’t return it, and I think it would be pointless to take it to a hitch installing place and make it their headache, so I guess I’m gonna take it to the recycling. $200 misadventure and I still don’t have a hitch for my bike.oh well.

Extremely simple to install, you can absolutely do this solo. I held it up by hand but if you cannot do that (it is pretty heavy), use a jack stand or something on the driver side just to keep it up and start one bolt on the passenger side first (passenger side threads are very clean as that is where the tow bracket is bolted on). You can toss the tow bracket as it will not go back on and well, you have a hitch now so it's useless anyways. Just jack up the rear on the frame, remove the tow bracket, remove the 2 side platic panels. I would suggest getting you a M12 1.25 fine thread pitch tap because the driver side holes are not used from the factory so the threads are likely rusty and you will not get the bolts in otherwise (unless your car is basically brand new or you get lucky).Once I cleaned up the threads it went in very easily. As for the plastic panels, it's true that they will not go back in place but I simply placed them as close as possible as where they go as a mock up, scribed them with a knife and cut out a notch with tin snips because the ends of the hitch are in fact in the way. Those panels keep snow and crap from building up in there which will promote rust so I recommend taking the time to put them back in place. It wasn't hard to do.Also for Rogue owners, get a longer ball mount because the receiver is actually under the bumper, it does not stick out like on a truck so for anything other than say a bike rack you will need a long mount to attach anything to the ball so be concious of that when buying one. Probably best to find the longest one you can and test it in the store parking lot just in case. I happen to have multiples so I had one that was long enough.Also don't freak out when you see 5 bolts in the package, Rouges only have 5 bolt holes, 3 on the driver side and 2 on the passenger side, this is normal.Good luck!

When I received the package. There was no box and no hardware. I had to drive to 4 different stores and 2 hours later. I could install it. The ups driver told me his boss took the trailer hitch out of the box. The box was thrown away with my hardwareIt was a horrible experience. Very stressful.

The hitch looks very strong. The installation was very successful. It’s exactly the size that my SUV needs. Shipping package was vey simple without a box. Some surface painting lost on arrival. That makes me remove one star.

The hitch mounting holes line up perfectly with the vehicle's frame treaded holes making it easy to install. I used a tread tap to clean the rust out of the 3 frame holes on the left side. The right side holes have bolts for a bracket you need to remove prior to installing the hitch.

The M12 mounting bolts should be test screwed into the welded nuts on the vehicle frame before installation, as the thread is slightly different and it is very hard to turn the screws in . I used WD40 and Lithium grease. I then removed the screws and installed the Draw-Tite 75902 Max-Frame Receiver. I did not need to undue the muffler bushings to loosen the muffler, as there was enough clearance for the installation. My vehicle was equipped with appearance panels which covered drivers and passenger side frame rails. I have not re-installed these yet, as I have a wiring package to run next for hooking into a trailers lighting/braking electrical. Very pleased with the ease of installation and the fit and appearance of the product on the vehicle.
