I am an auto tech. Boots are to short. Looks almost like it's for intake tube. I returned. It was a waist of time. Spend the extra money to get a set that works. Get what you pay for.

Not happy what so ever! Installed boot kit and the boot from the drivers side tube connecting to the turbo blew off. I put it back on thinking I may have not tightened it down properly and BOOM, it happened again! Then a 3rd time just trying to get back home! This was all in less than 10 miles. Doman, you make a lot of great products, this just isn't one of them...

The boots are just too short. I had to use the two lower boot for the upper boots. and did not replace the lower ones. Don't waste your money. Buy a better kit.

More stiff/rigid material then the factory boots, The kit includes the two boots that connect the intercooler pipes to the intake manifold, and the two boots that seal the intake manifold to the heads. See Dorman 904-240 for the intercooler inlet/outlet tapered boots.

For the price, this kit simply cannot be beat. Dorman's products have to be chosen carefully, as they are not always OEM-quality. But these are definitely better than OEM because they're not made of silicone, which is why they blow off when in contact with the normal oil that goes through the intake system. It's true that you don't get every boot under the hood, but the description says "engine boot kit" and very clearly shows that you only get 4 boots, not 6! And since I'm using a 6.0 intercooler, the extra boots wouldn't have worked for my, anyway. This kit costs less than HALF of what the Mishimoto or other brands of kits do, and every boot has worked well on my truck for the past year with no problems. You can't expect these to be the same as the high-dollar units, but for the money, you can't to better!
