Got this for an aggressive chewer. No strange odor detected by me or the dog - yay!Dog was instantly interested, but gave up on it after a few minutes. Don't know if that means she was bored or realized she couldn't destroy it. We'll see how she reacts when it cools off outside and we play fetch and stretch. The ball is a good size for larger dogs. The handle is a stretchy material that feels durable.Happy to find and recommend this affordable toy for aggressive chewers. Will come back and revise the rating and review if warranted after using for a while.

Definitely NOT for aggressive chewers. My dogs ripped the strap after only a few minutes of tug. My 18 lb chihuahua mix then took it to chew on and completely separated it after about 2 minutes. The ball seems sturdy though and I cut away the strap so they could play with that. That’s why I still gave it 3 stars. But the strap definitely is not tough. They had fun while it lasted though!

This toy was an absolute hit with my dogs. We try to have a ton of toys to swap out since they tend to get bored easily of the same toys all the time but this one, they have not put down. It is very well made and can withstand my aggressive chewers.
