I purchased it from amazon because of there EasY returns. The part was nicely packaged. I installed it with no problems. Just take a picture of the old ones wiring just in case. I included a pic of the old part.

The original board stopped working so i replaced it with this one and now it is working how it should, but it did take almost a day for it to get the fridge running back to how it should but now it is working perfectly. The check light isn't flashing anymore and of course the board isn't making a noise like the other one was which means the problem is fixed. Will update this review if anything comes up! I would highly recommend you get this item if it is the correct replacement part for your fridge. Make sure you do your research on what model board you need as well and match it to what the original board says.

The product itself works, and from what I can see the manufacturer of the board responds to requests, but all it takes is a visit to their web site, and you'll feel like you went back in time.When you open the package, you'll get a Warranty Registration card, that you must fill out via a writing instrument, then purchase or find a stamp to apply to the post card, and lastly deposit the card into a blue container, where it will be passed around until it eventually arrives at Dinosaur Electronics.The company's web site does not provide any means to register electronically, as 99% of other companies allow for decades, and confirmed with the company that you must mail it, as they have no other means to record the warranty.

I called Dinosaur Electronics to make sure I got the right control panel for the refrigerator in our travel trailer. Joe at Dinosaurs was very helpful. He even offered to walk me through installation, if I needed. It went in easily and the refrigerator works great.

Very easy to install. Solved my problem of the refrigerator working on propane only. I like having the temperature adjustment. My refrigerator is able to be set colder now. Only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because it arrived with the upper mounting tab broken. This didn’t affect the installation though.

I'm giving this 3 stars because it was defective. It did not work out of the box. I called the factory and talked to Joe, a very friendly and very knowledgeable technical rep. I am a tech myself and I did have a digital multi-meter. Joe walked me through some measurements and determined that the board was defective. He shipped me out a new board and this time everything worked great! Here's the rub. Because I did not return the board to the "seller" I am on the hook for the return postage. I guess that is my fault, I should have told Joe that I will return the board to the seller not the factory. That said, I will ask the seller to refund me for my for shipping but I recognize that they are under no obligation to do so. I will update this review with the sellers decision.The circuit board has a 3 year factory warranty which is a great warranty! And, I also like the ability to fine-tune the refrigerator temperature via the circuit board potentiometer!Update: I am changing this review to one star! The manufacturers replacement board failed after only TWO (2) days! There's something wrong here! I have requested a full refund from the seller. I put back the Dometic board and everything works fine. The Dometic board has always worked. The reason why I replaced it in the first place was the refrigerator was intermittently freezing. I guess intermittently freezing is better that not working at at all.Update Number 2: Yes, the seller agreed to give me a refund for the item less the sellers "original shipping costs". WHAT!!! The original shipping costs will be deducted from my refund. To add insult to injury I have already paid shipping costs to return the 1st bad product and now I am paying to ship back the 2nd bad product because this seller does not pay return shipping on defective items! That means I will pay to ship this defective product THREE (3) times! Once to return the 1st bad product, twice to return the 2nd bad product and a third time for the original shipping costs! The return instructions state: "If you return an item and the reason for the return is not a result of an Smith-RV error, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund."It also states: "Within 30 days of purchase, you may return any defective, damaged, or mis-shipped part. All return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer.I have been an Amazon customer for 15 years and this is the first time I have been ripped-off by a third party seller!
