My kids love this thing even though they weren't able to finish the original model (missing parts). It's compatible with other major brands of building bricks. The instructions were easy to follow, the kids said it wasn't a problem. I can't on sight pick out the difference between the major brands and this set while in a pile without looking for the logos. The price is VERY reasonable and would make a great gift, especially since it arrived within days of the order.Overall, I would recommend this for dino fans of all ages, even if they're not a fan of the movies :)happy building :)

We are a Lego family through and through, but money is tight these days so we’ve begun branching out to generic brands for some things because have you seen those name brand prices lately?!? My son especially loves Lego’s dinosaurs and always wants to expand his collection, but I cannot afford to pay $100 for him to get 1 new Lego Dino along with a set of bricks he might not even build. This is where we’ve found that good generic brands are the better way to go, as most of the generic versions of these Dinos are identical to the name brand in nearly every way.So when I had the opportunity to get this set I jumped at it knowing my son would be extremely grateful to have the two new dinosaurs that come with it, and oh he is! He loves them! This set includes one large and one medium dinosaur. They are super simple to assemble and have held up well while he’s been playing with them, and they fit in perfectly with his collection of both brand name and generic building brick dinosaurs.For this alone I would give this set 5 stars as being able to get two new dinosaurs for the current listing price is amazing. But my kiddo was actually interested in making the build as well and is currently building the rest of the “dinosaur park” set which I actually wasn’t expecting! He is just loving it! So far the pieces go together easily and the instructions make sense.The set itself comes in a really nice box that allows for gifting and is very appealing, and it opens with a flip top lid so you can use the box to store the bricks when they’re not being played with which is amazing.Overall I think this set is a fantastic alternative to the increasingly expensive brand name versions of these, and the quality is honestly just as good as that brand but for a fraction of the price. Kids or anyone who loves Lego, Jurassic World, or even just dinosaurs in general, will surely appreciate this set. Really great quality, I’m super impressed!
