Bought them to keep my hands safe when cutting grass with a sickle. They feel very sturdy and I trust they will protect. Of course, even with them on, I try to be careful and not hit my left hand with the blade, so can't testify to the level of protection, but they feel like they will work.

I read the description & measured my hand thus thought I needed a large as I was very close to the end of the medium measurement. I returned them.

Overall; I highly recommend especially if your doing elaborate cuts that would be easiest to accomplish by holding the meat/produce/misc. in your palm or finger tips without having to worry about cutting yourself aka the video demonstrations are not BS in my opinion.[+] Sizing seemed small straight out of the package but after 1 time using and rinsing, it fit perfectly to the scale provided on the listing[+/=] the knuckles don't have the same rubberized protection, but the material is still surprisingly durable[=] the portions of he glove that are not coated/rubberized still seem best to air dryExampIe: I sliced various produce and filet cut salmon in the palm of my hand with a freshly sharpened, and higher end, Japanese vented knife intended for making sushi without any issues even when basically chopping hand-held style. Precision cuts holding veggies/meat/fish with my finger tips still were unharmed.
