The description says “Costumes are made with deluxe extra soft canvas won't cause skin allergies.” It is definitely some man-made material like polyester and not canvas. I specifically purchased it because of the material and am very disappointed that they flat out lied about it. I don’t think it is a good value given that it isn’t what is listed in the description. The costume also comes with strips of black fabric that you are supposed to tie on to their arms and legs. Im not sure what purpose they are supposed to serve and I think it looks a little strange. It does come with a sword which is pretty substantial and looks good.I would have just returned just on that reason alone, however my 5 year old thinks it looks really cool and likes it. We got the size 4-6 and it fits him well. He is slightly tall and pretty skinny. The pants are slightly short but that’s ok for him because he is long waisted. If it was a taller kid or had long legs it wouldn’t work.

Great costume! My son loves it! I got him the size 6 to 8 years, he’s about 48” tall and it fits him perfect. Being 2 pieces is a plus, as he can wear it to school, and still go to the bathroom without practically stripping down.
