I'm an avid collector of sports cards of all kinds. Baseball cards are not what they used to be and that is a good thing.Every once in a while you would get a player that you recognized but, before cable, it was hard to get to know anybody but all-stars. This collection of David Ortiz is terrific. It comes with 5 cards. Not only are they very impressive photos, with statistics on the back, but each card comes in its own clear plastic sleeve. Now that never happened in the old days. These are top quality cards that appear new. I am very impressed at the work of the seller. I can't think of a better gift for aDavid fan than a set of these cards.I received this product free or at a discounted price for my unbiased and honest review. This, in fact, is what I have done. I thought I'd order these for my son to keep as this is Papi's last season. Overall, I'm impressed. Each card was in its own protective covering, and my son likes the images. My husband was excited that we were able to find some, and we're hoping to get to a game soon to have them signed. The images themselves aren't the most glamorous, and I was actually disappointed there wasn't a card with Papi's signature Home Run arms to the sky move. My favorite card is of him running, as anyone who follows Papi knows he's not a big name because of his speed and the card shows the strain of his face, but that's just me :). Overall I'm glad I was able to find these and I hope my son will enjoy these for a long time.

Very nice set of baseball cards as addition for hy husbands collection. Each card comes in its own plastic protective case. The protective case is made very well, not flimsy but pretty sturdy. The cards will look great for years to come. I had the chance to purchase this baseball card set at a discounted price for an honest and unbiased review. Highly recommended for the baseball card collector!

This was a gift for my nephews who are big Ortiz fans. They loved the set and thought I was the coolest uncle ever, which I am for the record. LOL Great gift for those baseball fans that are starting a card collection.
