I have a regulation Tornado table at home that I'll play with my adult kid when they are in town. We are always needing more balls for the table as we wear through them. These balls seem to be close enough to regulation for our amateur needs. In a darker room their brighter colors can also help with visibility.

I appreciate the different colors and number of foosballs included. The size of the foosballs also look correct. But my main issue with these is that they are too soft. They dont bounce off walls well and they will get stuck in the gaps very easily, so I gave these 2 less stars.

These CROWN ME foosballs are excellent and offer great value. They are great training balls and suitable for home, recreational, or general commercial play. They spin true and they are consistent in their weights and diameters. The textured surface offers possibilities for good ball control.The ad copy says that the balls weigh 26.8 grams. My scale says 27 grams, but my scale only displays whole numbers, so I believe the ad copy. Regardless, none of the balls weighed any more or less than the 27 grams displayed on my scale. With the diameter though, I’m not sure about the measurements because although the ad copy says that the balls are 35mm diameter, my caliper reads 35.4mm; but the balls are all the same though, so it could be that my caliper is off slightly. Regardless, given the consistency of the size, weight, and true spin, the manufacturing quality control on these balls seems to be excellent.The dozen CROWN ME balls are nice to have. Foosballs take a long time to wear out, but having a bunch of balls can be handy for practice and also fun for “melee” games in which a bunch of balls are dumped onto the table at once and the winner is whoever gets most into the opponent’s goal.Tornado makes the foosballs that are most often used in sanctioned U.S. tournaments. The official balls are red. While these CROWN ME foosballs would not be used in a sanctioned tournament, I’d have no qualms about using them in any other setting.Do be aware though, that there seems to be a difference between U.S. foosballs and European foosballs. European foosballs (e.g., from Bonzini) tend to weigh in at around 19 grams, which is significantly lighter than these CROWN ME balls. If you are already playing with European foosballs, you may not want to mix them. If however, you are playing with some old plastic foosballs or (heaven forbid), some ping pong balls, then these CROWN ME foosballs would be a fantastic upgrade.For me, I have some European foosballs, including some made of cork, which are supposed to be good for control. However, I actually prefer these CROWN ME foosballs. My European foosballs are just shy of 35mm and I find that the slightly larger diameter on these CROWN ME foosballs makes them easier to control and practice “footwork” with my players. I have a classic old Deutscher Meister table that I enjoy playing and practicing on (see attached photo highlighting my target-practice goal cover).In short, I’m pleased to have these CROWN ME foosballs, to practice with them, to play with them, and to recommend them; they are excellent.

Great balls, excellent upgrade from the cheap ones that came with the table, good weight, solid roundness, and the texture is great for grip. excellent replacement foosballs
