Got it installed and it runs with a very loud noise that is disturbing to hear if you work a lot on your laptop.

This item works great. It seems a little louder but I think it was due to the aged original fan may not have been operating (extremely quiet). My laptop was getting HOT but this replacement fan has it running cooler.

Sent it in a small package with little protection for the part. When I pulled out the hinge was broken and this is what it looked like.
