I recently picked up the Pool Cleaner A1 Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner, and although we're still in the midst of winter and unable to use it at the moment, I'm already excited for the warmer weather and the opportunity to put this nifty little gadget to good use.As someone who has always dreaded the tedious task of manually cleaning the pool, this robotic cleaner caught my eye as a potential Time Saver. The fact that it's cordless is a huge plus, as it eliminates the hassle of dealing with tangled cords and gives me the freedom to move it around the pool without any restrictions. One of the features I'm most impressed with is the impressive 120-minute runtime. This means I can let the Pool Cleaner A1 do its thing without worrying about it conking out halfway through the job. The 2.5 hour fast charging is also a nice touch, allowing me to quickly recharge the unit and get it back in the water in no time. The dual filters are another standout feature that I'm looking forward to utilizing. Having the ability to capture a wide range of debris, from leaves and twigs to fine particles, ensures that my pool will be left sparkling clean after each cleaning cycle. It's the kind of attention to detail that really sets this robotic cleaner apart. Now, while I haven't had the chance to use it yet, I do have a couple of minor concerns. The size and weight of the unit might make it a bit challenging to maneuver in and out of the pool, especially for those with limited mobility. Also, I'm curious to see how well it navigates the contours of my above ground pool, as the manufacturer claims it's suitable for pools up to 1076 square feet.I'm incredibly excited to get this Pool Cleaner A1 in action once the weather warms up. As someone who despises the tedious task of manually cleaning the pool, this robotic cleaner promises to save me a significant amount of time and effort. I can't wait to see how effortlessly it navigates the water and leaves my pool sparkling clean, allowing me to focus on enjoying the summer sun rather than worrying about pool maintenance.

One thing to note is that Whinny robotic pool cleaners are made by the company Wybot, this Whinny is exactly the same as the Wybot model A1Wybot is an excellent brand of pool vacuum cleaners and offers many different models at variable pricing based on functionality and performanceThe A1 is an entry level budget friendly pool vacuum, suitable for above ground pool floor cleaning with a maximum slope of 15 degrees, this is basically a weekly maintenance vacuum cleaner, good for picking up small floor deposit debris and not much moreIt is limited in that it has no scrub brushes and will only suck debris rather than cleaning built on dirt or algae layersIt is a two drive wheel drive robot with two additional wheels in the front and back for steering. It has no sensors or programmable options in respect to pool cleaning patterns or obstacle avoidance. it is a wall bump and directional change cleaner that may or may not clean your whole pool within its working battery life cycleThe multiple filtration layers are more of a pain during cleaning than a benefit considering it does not have a scrub brush to agitate small microparticles and layered dirt that would get trapped in the filtersDon't get me wrong, Wybot makes great products, some of the best out there, but this is an entry level robotic pool vacuum, if you are serious about getting a robotic pool cleaner with a limited budget check out Wybots C1 model , it is a much better option than the A1

I’ve tried pool vacuums from bargain buys to the boujee $1,000 ones, and honestly, this one punches way above its weight. It’s not packed with bells and whistles — no wall climbing, no smart mapping, and the battery’s a one-and-done deal — but for the price? Kind of a steal.Setup was stupid easy (like, open the box and go easy), and even if you’re a first-timer, you’ll have it cruising around your pool in minutes. As for cleaning, it crushed it. It scooped up dirt like a champ with no messy leaks, and while it didn’t hit every single inch on the first go, a second run filled in the gaps without any drama. If you want a simple, no-fuss pool buddy that doesn’t ask for much and leaves your pool looking fresh, this is it. Toss it in, kick back, maybe run it twice, and call it a day.

I have tested these products ranging from this price range all the way up to the ones that run you around $1000 CAD.I have to say for the price tag its a pretty good choice as a cheaper option. What I noticed the main things it didn't provide compared to the higher end models was the mapping abilities, wall climbing, and battery life. But when it came to overall performance it did a really good job at matching them. For its performance, I didn't have any issues with dirt being left behind where the bot ran through. Now with that being said, I will say it did not do a perfect job by any means of getting every inch of the pool. It wasn't missing large areas, but the lines were not that tight. There would be a little area that it left behind when pathing between routes, I was able to get these lines with the robot by running it again so in the end it wasn't an issue it just took an extra run. When it came to mapping and getting it set up it was a breeze, I had no issues with it myself and everything was straight forward, I can't see any first time user having an issue with it either. For battery life I was getting one clean per life, then it would have to be charged prior to wanting to use it again as it would not last another full clean, especially with having to run it twice. My pool is 10X20 and after running it twice I would have about a quarter of the battery left.As mentioned above it doesn't have any extra features, it is just ground cleaning and that is it. No wall cleaning, no remapping nothing. Its very barebones cleans the bottom of your pool and that is it.The catcher held everything perfectly, and I didn't have any leakage or back fill happening with it. It cleaned and contained the mess.Personally I can recommend it for what it is, just a vacuum for the ground of the pool. It did a really good job and the only complaint I have is that you most likely will have to run it twice per cleaning to get everything, but it is something you just toss in the pool and walk away from. There really isn't any extra work needed even with the double cleaning. Its a great entry level cleaner.
