Actually water resistant! It is perfect for us. Just get a little extra warm because of the material it's not as breathable as a normal mattress cover but that's to be expected! Very durable and good quality

I bought the Hanherry 100% Waterproof Mattress Protector for our bed, and it’s been fantastic. The deep pockets fit our mattress perfectly, and it stays in place without any bunching. This is the second one I’ve bought so that I can rotate them out easier. You don’t feel a weird texture through your sheets with this, if that’s important to you like it was to me lol. That’s why I’m only buying a second one now instead of when I initially bought one. If i hate the texture I don’t want to have to return 2 lol. This one is nice though!

Was worried that with this product, being waterproof, would create noise on movement, but having perused previous reviews which said there was no noise I can concur. Amazingly quiet & very happy.
