Bought this to wear as a sauna hoodie. This works well. It sits secure on my head and keeps me cool. Not as absorbent as my cotton towel, but still works for what it was bought for

This is a useful item to carry in your day pack or when you are traveling. It folds very small and comes with a nice carry pouch for travel ease. You can wear it several different ways and even wet it to keep you cool on hot outings. The material feels very soft and comfortable. The grey color looks very cool as well. I like how there is a button clasp as well so you don’t have to worry about the hood flying off during different activities. The great price and the versatility I would highly recommend for the outdoor enthusiast!

This is comfortable and lightweight. Works great to keep the sun off your shoulders and neck, but it doesn't stay put very well so it's better suited for non-active outdoor activities/events. The slit in the back goes too high for me, you need a fairly high back shirt under it otherwise it doesn't cover all your back. The magnetic closure in the front is easy to use, but it comes undone easily if you accidentally tug on the hood at all.

This is a lightweight uv-blocking moisture-wicking "towel" that can be worn on different ways, including as a hood. The item can also be put in water and used to keep cool. I liked the idea enough to order a second one to give as a gift to someone who works in the sun and heat.

As I've gotten older I've come to appreciate the need to keep well covered from the sun when spending a lot of time outside. I've tried a lot of different sun protection items, from expensive to cheap, from well made to garbage, this item is fantastic! The price is great for what you get. The material feels nice and the entire thing seems to be well made. I love the addition of the magnets to keep it closed if you want to wear it as a hood. It's thin enough to use underneath a hat and that's how I've worn it.I recommend this item.

I have mixed feelings about this magnetic cooling towel. As a cooling towel, it definitely works, so the product gets one star for this. It is unique within its shape, being a hood that cradles the head, so it doesn’t fall off when you are in motion like a normal towel would. This special form factor deserves a star as well, though I don’t think it’s totally functional. I didn’t particularly find the magnet useful within my experiences of using this at the gym. Now, if you used this outside to block the sun from touching your skin, the magnet would probably be more useful. I don’t think the magnet is a negative aspect of this towel, just something wanted to point out about it within my experiences with it. I do like the color(s) as the solid black that I choose is a very deep black. Most cooling towels are two toned or have a color for the towel and then the stitching is a separate color. Not this towel, it looks nice, and I like the little breathable mesh bag that is included. Absolutely deserving of a star for the color and storage bag.Now, the two draping ends are what I find somewhat inefficient. Yes, they do work in the way of cooling off your shoulders, and, as a towel, they will absorb some sweat. However, they sort of flop around and do not stay in place. I find myself constantly trying to manipulate the placement of the ends over my shoulders to provide that cooling effect. It was annoying, as a standard large size non-hooded cooling towel can do the same thing as this product without flopping around and providing more coverage. Then again you don’t get the hood shape with a standard towel, which is why I have mixed feelings about this product. If the hood were longer, or the ends were wider, this product would probably work much better for its intended use as a hood that simultaneously covers your shoulders. Personally, I’d rather just have an oversized standard cooling towel that covers these areas without constantly having to readjust it. I have to say the products user friendliness doesn’t quite cut it for me and loses a star for this. I also think the price is a bit much as the suggested asking price at the time of this review is $19.99. Now, contrary to this, it’s on sale for $12.99, which I find is much more appropriate! Again, I have to deduct a star for the price, BUT, if this towel is priced at $12.99 or less, I think it’s worth a try if you think this sort of product is up your ally.Don’t let my experiences talk you out of this product as it does serve a purpose and probably works for some people. I just didn’t find it thrilling, and it felt like it was more of a chore to get certain aspects of the towel to work for me, things that I found intriguing about the product over the typical standard cooling towel (which is why I got this in the first place). I don’t not recommend it, I just recommend you do your research first before diving into this purchase.

This is hooded towel is pretty good, I like that it includes a magnetic snap and the hood is expansive enough to fit even those with large heads like mine, the storage bag is mesh so it can dry effectively, all of that is pretty good. My point of contention is that, I have had many different evaporative cooling fabric products come into and leave my life, and this is a good one, but I was expecting more. The water tends to fall into the two should parts of the towel, leaving your head dry and in danger from the heat quicker. Also, the cooling effect is good, but it certainly isn't exceptional for the category either, nothing that would convince me to choose this in particular for effectiveness.Overall, I would say this is a pretty good value kit, it does help nicely, but it also needs frequent reactivation due to the problem mentioned and the cooling effect is not remarkable, so keep a bottle of water handy during use, and it will help with the heat.

I use these while I am working outside and the ones without the magnets fly into your face and get really annoying. This one has the magnets and that will keep this in place. They collect the sweat and protect you from the powerful Sun rays, that will cause you harm in the future. I'd say these are excellent new products, but the concept of a "sweat" hoodie is so old it goes back hundreds of years, even thousands. I worked outside for a 20-year career and all they offered were baseball caps, and now I have 4 types of skin cancer. These hoodies and long sleeve shirts are the way to go, trust me. Worth any price, and these are packaged like a fancy name brand or what someone would make for some famous athlete, but they are not. Once that happens, the price will double or triple just to cover the advertising. Buy them now before they slap a picture of some arrogant blowhard on the cover and raise the price.HIGHLY recommended.
