This blanket took me right back to being a kid at my grandma’s house 40+ years ago — same kind of soft, silky fabric I remember from her old couch blankets. This one’s just got a modern twist: it’s cool to the touch. It’s just the right weight and feels really good against your skin.Not too thick, not too flimsy — it’s that perfect in-between. The stitching is solid, the material feels like it’ll hold up, and honestly, I think this one’s earned permanent couch duty. Great for those TV nights when you just want something comfy to pull over you without overheating (summertime, got the AC on, chilling on the chaise while watching a video). I’d have liked a different color myself, but the couch is blue so it’s a good match. Might stain a bit easily though as it’s lighter color after all.Functionally…it’s a blanket and it does its job. Like I said it’s not too hot, but it keeps you comfortable. To be honest, I’m really just caught up in the nostalgia of it all. This blanket really does take me back to my childhood years.Highly recommend if you want something comfortable without the sweat.

Very silky texture—feels soft and smooth against the skin. It doesn’t stay cool if its just laying it on top of you after about 15 minutes, but I actually slept on top of it and it helped me stay comfortable during a hot night. Great option if your bedroom runs warm and you need something breathable.Very nice blue color works great as a throw or if taking camping to keep cool.

I don't like giving a negative review and I debated only giving this 2 stars, but maybe I received an early version of this comforter that isn't as good as what is offered now. Here's why I deducted stars:The fabric is not cooling. There wasn't any tags or info as to what the fabric is on either side of this comforter. It says it's double-sided, but both sides feel the same, and neither side feels cool or cools me down. There is very little stretchiness to this fabric.The fabric is very slippery. As you can see in my first 2 photos, on the right side of the comforter it shows that on that one entire side, the fabric is only held in place by the hem on the edges. The wave quilting is on one side only, and that wave quilting is attached to the filling. The entire back can be pulled up and shifts around freely. So, trying to sleep with this slippery, basically not attached, fabric is difficult and not safe. If the comforter slides off of the bed in the night, stepping on it could be a fall hazard.On my comforter, 3 corners are badly sewn. If you zoom in to my photos, you can see it puckered up. So, this isn't even a very good duvet insert.The color when I ordered this was "Light Blue". Now it says "Pure Light Blue". I don't consider the color I received to be a shade of Light Blue. It's not even just slightly different. It's very different.Compared to the other "Cooling" comforters, blankets, and pillowcases that I've received, this one is not worth the money for $45.88 (currently). When I ordered it, it was $29.99 which I still think was too high compared to other "Cooling" bedding.

On first inspection, this blanket looked really promising. It almost feels like holding water - smooth, cool, and silky, the fabric flows over your arms. It is relatively lightweight and yet at the same time feels like it has some comforting weight to it too - I'm not sure how to describe it, other than it wasn't too heavy, not too light. The color is a pretty baby blue, and one side of the blanket is just smooth and plain while the other side has some quilting stitching on it. The edges have a nice white cord trim on them.CONS: I ordered a Queen size blanket, but the blanket wasn't big enough to cover even just the top of my queen bed. It looked more like the size blanket you would expect for a twin bed, not a queen. Definitely not at all true to size! Also, while the fabric does feel nice and cool to the touch on bare skin like my arms, if I put it over my lap while wearing pants it doesn't feel cool at all - so the "cooling" feature only works on bare skin. Also, the blanket is SUPER slippery. I stepped on the blanket on the floor and it's so slippery that I slipped and fell over. Another time I was trying to push myself up to a seated position on the bed and my hand was on the blanket and my arm slipped out from under me because of the blanket's slipperiness - especially if the blanket is folded over on itself and the fabric is rubbing together. Not safe at all!This blanket sounded promising, but it just isn't worth the money and doesn't deliver on its promises.Note: the color doesn't look very good in some of the photos, but that's just because of the lighting. I've used several different kinds of lighting to try to capture the correct color.

My daughter enjoys this blanket. It keeps her comfortable no matter if we have heat or air conditioning running. She is mentally impaired so we have been searching for the right combination to meet her needs. It washes well (follow directions) and holds its shape. I have not noticed snags from kitty which is impressive. Overall her and I give this 5 stars

I'm a sleep with one leg out kind of person. This comforter hasn't changed that. I will say that it is not as warming as I expected and is certainly cooler that the comforter I was using. The denser core is sandwiched between two satiny outer layers that have an air gap between them. That bit of air between the layers does provide a bit more comfort and breathability, in my opinion as I don't get as hot through the night and it is easier for me to get comfortable when I first get in bed without getting insta-warm. As just a lightweight comforter, I really like this at it has found a permanent place on my bed. Though, I do feel that the 'cooling' descriptor can be a bit misleading. It's more that it doesn't trap as much heat.
