These compressed body towel tablets are amazing! I have never used anything like these before, but I wanted to pack light for a vacation trip. They take up very little space and so are extremely packable. The first time you use them you do have to get them wet to loosen them up. But I was amazed at the quality. I assumed these were one-time use level and that they would fall apart after one use - I was wrong, these are great travel towels that are surprisingly durable! They dry very quickly - just a couple hours and they will be completely dry. I was able to use the same towel day after day and no fluff came off and no tears in the fabric. The material reminds me of baby wipes or face wipes but a little thicker.

Great item for travel. I only have used 1 so far but was so grateful to have it. Certainly not the most plush towel but didn't expect that from a compressed package. It definitely dried me off which is the most important thing.I was traveling and arrived late to my hotel room. It was an ok hotel but it had only 1 towel and it looked dirty. I was tired and it was late and the front desk didn't answer. I was very grateful I had this in my bag!I recommend this item. Great as an emergency or spare towel. Couod have so many uses.It has the diameter of a roll of masking and is about 1/2 inch thick. Once opened it was about 2 feet wide by 4.5 feet in length.

These things are amazing for overlanding! They take up virtually no space in my cargo bins, but when I need to clean up after a muddy adventure (especially when Iâve left the windows down, oops), all I do is add a bit of warm water and Iâve got a full-sized towel ready to go. Theyâre soft, and feel great on the skin. Whether Iâm camping, hiking, or just need a backup towel while traveling, these kind of towels are now my go-to solution. Highly recommend them for anyone on the move or without access to proper wash facilities. Convenient, and surprisingly durable for something so compact!

This is a super compact travel towel that fits in the palm of your hand. It takes up no space, and is much lighter than a traditional towel. The size, although not resembling a luxurious bath sheet, is big enough to make do when you really need a towel (e.g. while travelling) without taking up a lot of valuable space in your luggage. This is such a useful item to throw in your gym bag or carry on luggage, and you could reuse or dispose of the item.

These are very good and innovative idea whereby you can save an absurd amount of space when you're travelling as this compacted towel takes only a fraction of space compared to bringing a full sized towel with you, although it does come with the disadvantage of not being as plush or thick as a standard bath towel but at least it's decently sized.The only downside is you do have to soak it in a tub of water for it to fully expand before you can use it and after that, it's in a wet state so using it straight away to dry you off after a shower is doable but won't be too effective as you'd still be somewhat wet. In a pinch it'll do absolutely fine, but just don't expect too much unless you leave it out to dry first, which again, will take some preparation well ahead of time before you expect to use a dry towel.

These towels are really handy for travel and save space in my bag. I use a burgundy hair dye and like using disposable towels so I do not turn hotel towels pink when I wash my hair. You do have to wet these to get them to expand though so if that is a deal breaker you may want to buy regular uncompressed disposable towels instead.

These are excellent compressed towels. They are HUGE bath sized (55 inches x 27.5 inches) and have a slight texture that helps them be more absorbent. They are soft and feel good when I am drying off.I like that these are made of plant fibers, and I have also reused them. Once they dry, they donât get super small like right out of the package but still they take up almost no space and are easy to tuck around other things in my backpack. I think I can easily get 3 uses out of one since it is only clean water they are absorbing. Maybe more.

At my age, I am not a frequent traveler. But I do remember trips around this province over the years, and more than a few stays in hotels and motels. Most were bright, clean, and welcoming, with fresh bedding and towels ready and waiting. A few were not, to the point that the towels carried visible stains as well as unpleasant odours. Once or twice, we stayed only because having a room and a shower seemed marginally more appealing than spending the night in the car, when exhaustion made more driving an unsafe idea. It would have been great to have had the option of turning to these compressed towels, and it is my plan to carry them in my suitcase on any future jaunts, because even the best planning can be thwarted by unexpected circumstances.I really did not want to waste one of the towels, just to see if they really work. But I also did not want to have a false sense of security, if it should turn out that when really needed, they did not work. So I reluctantly unpacked one large tablet of towel, and placed it in warm water in the bathroom sink. I was expecting to have to leave it there, and come back in an hour or two to check on results, but the tablet expanded immediately on contact with the water. I let it soak just two or three minutes, then drained the water, and squeezed the towel as dry as I could. That turned out not to be very dry. In fact, this magical towel was still dripping, so I spread it over a rack in the bathtub to finish drying. For me, that would be a problem in a motel situation. I guess one solution would be to expand the towel right away, if there were no decent towels readily available, and try to hang it to dry for later use. Hmm.The towel does expand to the full size of a large bath towel, but I was somewhat disappointed that it completely lacks the thickness of a regular towel. One of the photos on the product listing page states: "35% thickened new type". Really, it's not thick at all; I would say that it is not as thick as a flannel sheet. But it is cotton, and it is soft, and it is clean, and in a bad situation, it would be an option for wiping dry.Now, what to do with my newly expanded towel? I despise wastefulness of any kind, so I definitely will not be flushing or otherwise discarding it. I may cut it into washcloths or dusting cloths of a convenient size, or possibly keep it at its current size for those occasions when a pet needs some crate padding for a trip to the vet.Overall, I think these expandable towels are a remarkable innovation, a great idea, and -- even if not quite perfect -- a good product.

I liked the idea, the concept was grand, a compressed towel for packing purposes, the sanitation and use. However, it barely meets the value test. In order to make it ready for use, it must be soaked with water, wrung out, then allowed to dry. Drying time is about two hours in a controlled environment without wind. The size difference, between the sealed and compressed, and the dry and prepared for use, is barely worth the time and energy. The only real win is sealed for sanitation. The texture and feel of the dried product is only a few steps above that of a paper towel once completely dry. Soaking wet, it is closer to that of a dry paper towel. It could see a few uses before it's too dirty to continue, then you have to dispose it. I do not see it spending time in a washer and/or a dryer.

4 stars only because of how thin the towel was. It was full size and did a decent enough job of absorbing water, but i guess when I want a towel - i expect a decent performance. For the price and the fact you can store this for an emergency, are why its not 3 stars.

Definitely perfect for a camper or trunk of a car for emergencies. I don't know that I would substitute a hotel towel, for one of these.

These towels are made from a "paper fabric" type of material that has been compressed. Each compressed circle is an individual towel that you can decompress by soaking it in a little bit of water. The towels are very absorbent and can be dried in the dryer or on a clothes line and be re-used. They are somewhat sturdy and could be used at least couple of times before they fell apart. These would be great to include in your emergency kit or for camping/hiking.5 out of 5 would definitely recommend.
