I received this file box it is defective, the Velcro part that would allow the lid to close is on opposite side I am for some reason unable to to submit a return for a refund

The first one I opened didn't come with the plastic rail clips, but the second one did and I learned the clips aren't effective and I will be modifying. I won't return them because I need them but I will have to modify to keep them from sliding off and to keep the whole box stable so the files don't bounce off the rail anyway Clio or no clip. Also, the second one had the Velcro sewn to the outer part of the lid flap making it impossible to shut. I'll be removing and resewing the Velcro piece under neath where it belongs so that I can Velcro it shut or, I might actually use magnets. I think magnets would be better. I have a bazillion rare earth magnets from taking things apart so I will be upgrading the boxes to magnet seals. Much more effective j promise. I appreciate the complany giving me the prototype and something to work with in terms of modifying. So I am not entirely disappointed however compared to what they would have me believe, I have to give 3 stars. If they advertised it as a template file hanging storage in box for those who have the means and time to modify, I would have given it 5 stars because it is perfect in that context. But as it is advertised, it is lacking severely. Sorry. But, again, thank you for the head start and I'll come back and provide image of the finished and better made product when I'm done.

I needed a way to carry lesson plans and music sheets back and forth. I purchased this to replace a hard plastic box that was falling apart. With the handles it is very portable. The lid is attached and fastened with velcro. That is very helpful. It can hold alot. I use hanging files so as I have been using it, the sides are warping under the weight of the files. The box has turned out to not be as sturdy as I need. It is great for other storage options, but hasn't worked out for holding my files like I thought it would.
