I have always wanted one of these clock cameras. I am in a shared living situation and wanted a camera in plain sight in my office without it being recognized as a camera. If you have ever setup a piece of tech like this, it's not that hard and I got through it just using my past experiences. The poor English and multiple options on the setup paper is confusing and may end up hindering you if you have never set up something like this. So for that, I dock a star. Aside from that, it works great. Comes with a rechargeable battery but you can also just keep it plugged into a USB. You use the app to set up the time and all the other features so it is essential you have a device that can use its app. The poor English is somewhat annoying but it works pretty well. The camera quality is better than I expected at this price point. Overall, a great device.

This hidden camera disguised as a smoke detector works well for basic surveillance. The video quality isn’t great — it’s a bit grainy, especially in low light, and the audio has some static. But if you just need to check whether someone entered your home or see if your baby is asleep or awake, it does the job.One big advantage is the realistic design — it truly looks like a real smoke detector, and the camera is completely hidden, even up close. What really impressed me is the mobile app. It allows full control over the device: you can turn the camera on and off, take pictures or record videos, watch the live stream remotely, and even listen to sound from the room. The app is user-friendly and works reliably. It’s easy to set up over WiFi and blends well with most home interiors. Don’t expect high-end security footage, but for simple monitoring at home, it’s a solid option for the price.
