I wasn't expecting superior quality for the price, but purchased because of the "Melissa and Doug" name. As soon as I opened these the screws holding the arms in place fell out, which makes the arm fall off the bar. Of course, I tried to screw them back in, but the hole in the metal arm bar was apparently drilled too large. I bought two chairs, and it happened on both of them. If not for that, they'd be great for the price. Kids loved them until the arm fell off, now they just happily sit on stumps instead.

These are small, but exactly what I wanted. I’m using them in a preschool classroom so I can’t attest to longevity - they will be used constantly so not a fair assessment. But they seem pretty sturdy. They are adorable I’m my class.

These little chairs are adorable. I wanted small Christmas gifts for my friend's 3 toddlers, and since my kid loves his Octopus chair like this one, I got the butterfly for the one girl, and this crab and the bug for the 2 boys. They were a hit! We even sat them around an end table, and they ate together in their little chairs with their sippy cups in their cupholders. They'll be even better for the summer!

My daughter is absolutely in love with this chair because she loves crabs for some reason. I like it because it is well constructed and sturdy for her to sit in, yet light enough that she can move it and fold it up on her own. The canvas is thick and my 120 lb wife routinely sits in the chair upon toddler request and the chair doesn't seem to mind at all. It even comes with a little bag. If I had to complain, the drink holder could be a little bigger, since no kid's cup or water bottle we have fit in the small hole.

Not just a beach chair, but picnic, playground, BBQ, camping, anywhere chair! I needed a beach chair for my soon to be three year old. I came across this and it was the best purchase for the beach I've made. He fits perfectly in the chair and I see him fitting in it until he's about 5 or so. His older cousins (4 and 5 yoa) could fit in the chair, which made me realize that my son would fit this chair for a couple years as far as fit is concerned. It's very lightweight and comes with a bag to put the chair in. No different than the adult sized chairs you find of this type. The material is a little flimsier. And the bag is just barely big enough to fit the chair back in. You have to fold the chair up perfectly and remember how it came out because it will only go in that way. So, if you're in a rush, putting the chair away is not going to happen. However, for the price, I'm satisfied. I'm a prime member so two day shipping meant it arrived on time.

Just the perfect size and weight for my 5 year old. He can carry it easily by himself. He is really enjoying his new chair.I bought two of these but returned the second one as it is too small for our tall 9 year old even though he is well below the specified weight limit.It just seems awkward to see a tall 9 year old in this little chair.

My daughters love these chairs. I bought one for my class too. My only concern is that they were able to rip the cup holder the first day. The chairs seem really well made except for the cup holder. The material on it seems very weak and easy to tear. I think considering how well the rest of the chair is made they could have spent a little more and made the cup holders a little stronger. My toddler will eventually end up ripping the cup holder too.

I purchased this chair for my 2 year old to use for the Fourth of July festivities we attended. She is a small 2 year old and this chair is wonderful for her! It has a wider and lower center of gravity than the pacific play tents cat chair we have for our 6 year old. When we got it I let her test it out in the living room and she loves it! She is able to get in and out with ease and I don't have to worry about her tipping over in spite of her accrobatics. She can also slide it around without it landing on her or catching on the carpet. The cup holder makes her feel like a big girl since she can keep track of her own drink and honestly it's one less thing for me to hold. I will be purchasing another one for our 6 year old. Super product!
