I thought those composition books would be the same type of ones I see in local office supply stores. When I received it, I was very disappointed. The cover is extremely thin and not hard cover. And the entire notebook bends like the wind. Paper quality is also low end.At $13.09, the price for this type of quality is completely ridiculous to me. You can purchase US made, high quality notebooks with hard covers at around $1 each anywhere in the continental US. So that would be $5 for a pack. Overpaying and receiving low, subpar quality? No thanks, I have common sense.

This is a pack of six multicolored college ruled composition books. There is one of each color: red, blue, purple, green, yellow, and black. Each one has 100 sheets that are double sided. Each notebook measures 9.75 x 7.5 inches and fits easily in a backpack, desk, or locker. The sturdy marble-style covers protect your notes inside. They can be used for many things like journalling, taking class notes or creative writing.

I am probably being very picky, but I am deducting 1-star for an issue that may not matter to other users, but is very significant to me. The Amazon listing describes these composition notebooks as being college ruled, my preference. What I received was a five pack of very nice wide ruled, not my preference, notebooks. Definitely not what I wanted.As to the composition notebooks, had they been college ruled, a 5-star product. Well put together. The stitching in the binding is solid. The covers are solid and durable enough that the contents are well protected. The pages are of thick enough material that there should be no issue with ink bleeding through, thus making both sides of each page useful/functional. I, personally, find the metric unit conversions chart on the inside of the back cover helpful.Again, were it not for my personal bias, I would give this product 5-stars. If you are looking for a wide ruled composition notebook, I would highly recommend these to you. Warning, you might receive the college ruled that I was expecting, hoping for.
