This is an attractive, casual brooch pin that, while hardly an heirloom piece that belongs in the family vault, is well worth the few dollars it costs.This pin seems sturdily made, fastens securely, and has a lovely silver gleam to it. The many tiny protrusions on the surface add visual interest and realism.As for size, I couldn't find dimensions in the product description, but I measure my pin at about 5.4 cm. or a bit over two inches.The brooch is large enough to make something of a statement, but it isn't bulky or overwhelming. For my purposes, it's juust right.I find this pin to be ideal for casual, beach-theme wear.
