The double zipper bag and tight elastic cuffs assures that there will be no light leaks. It is large enough to easily load two reel Paterson tanks and 4x5 inch film holders. I haven't tried loading a five reel tank but I don't think that would be any problem.

This is a great product. I have been re-spooling 120 film onto 620 spools and have been using either a film darkroom or my lovely window-less and double doored bathroom up until recently. I have moved house and now have no-where to re-spool my film.I hunted around on the internet and based on customer reviews, this product, whilst a bit more pricey did seem the best for the job.I initially chose it because of the reviews and the material it is made of. Some of the cheaper changing bags looked like they were made of a type of heavy cotton material which I figured would be bulkier to store, heavier to carry and in the event of a getting caught in rain whilst out - would take ages to dry. So picked this product and I'm thrilled.I can easily fit a box brownie camera in and have plenty of room to re-spool. So if you are looking to load 5x4 film then I'm certain this would accommodate easily. As anticipated it is made of lightweight material that looks like it would dry quickly if wet (not tested though) and it folds up small.I have just sent off my film for processing so I cannot vouch for the bags 'light-tightness'. My arms are slender so I did put on a sweatshirt for extra thickness to use the bag to keep the arm holes tight. The only thing I did think of when mid re-spooling back onto 120 spools after having shot the film was 'oh my goodness how am I going to lick the paper tab to seal the film' then I remembered that the film I am using has self adhesive tabs so not a problem, but do remember that if using film that needs licking to put some tape or an elastic band into the bag!! Of course that's not relevant to this product specifically - just all changing bags.

I use this to unload film from my Holga 120n modified to use 35mm. This does exactly what it's designed to do, create a dark room for changes. The zipper at the end of the bag zipps in one direction. Then there is a 2nd bag/zipper that zipps in the opposite direction. This helps prevet simple light leaks at the end of the bag. The material is nice and thick, and folds up nicely. A bit too big to put in a typical camera bag, so I leave it in my car until I need it.The arms are nice and long, goes about half-way up the forearm. And the ends have a very snug elastic band to make sure they stay in place. Might be a little tight, but its better safe than sorry. Seems very well made and will probably last a long time with normal use.A suggested addition would be a little carry bag with draw string, just to keep it tidy when transporting.
