This is a lot cooler in person. At first, I wasn’t sure which insertion went inside vs on top. Note to self - stiff one is for the top & soft & squishy for inside. The moment I finished assembling what I call the crash pad cat house & placed it, we had a taker within 1 minute. Two of our males, 1 age 2 & the other age 12, both love this little crash pad. They both look so cute & like “kings of the castle” just chilling on the top, grooming themselves. One leaves & the other swoops in for his turn. This is a great little cat fun zone. It’s super funny when one cat is on top & one is inside & they slap box. Very much worth its $27.99 price tag! Super easy to assemble & sturdy one it is placed.

This is a good sized kitty house that's easy to assemble despite the fact that there are no instructions. The main part of the house just opens up to form the rectangle. Fold the bottom pad to squish it through the largest opening and then let it unfold inside the rectangle. You can move it around to adjust it. Unfold the top, hard bottomed portion and put it in place. I added a blanket on top because it's actually kind of hard (I thought). It does need to be on a solid surface because the bottom is flexible. I don't think I put it together wrong because the solid top part wouldn't fit inside the rectangle. It does have an off odor when you first open it which dissipates after a few hours. Still, I don't really like it when items have a chemical smell, even if it goes away.My cat checked it out and he doesn't care for it, really. He stuck his head in but never actually walked into it. I put him on top of it and he was lying on it for a few seconds and then he got up and walked away. I haven't seen him on it since.Still, because I think it's a nice box that most cats would like, I'm giving it 4 stars. You just never know with cats. It's definitely big enough for kittens to play in and enjoy and I think 2 adults could curl up inside together very nicely depending on their size. It seems cozy to me but whether or not your cat will like it is anyone's guess!

This cat cave was very easy to assemble, just unfold it and place the padded roof on top and the other pad inside. The weight of the house is very light, easy to move around if needed. It feels fairly durable and should hold up to most cats although I would not use it for some of the heavier breeds.Size wise it's perfect for our smaller tuxedo while his portly brother found it a little small. But our little one immediately took to it and assumed residency before I even finished putting the pad inside.

This cat bed is awesome! It arrives in a small package and goes together quickly with no tools needed. The plastic is easily pulled off, leaving two ribbons that each released with a single tug. There are then three pieces. Unfold the structure, and place the hard bottomed padded piece on top. The soft pad goes inside. Done! Cats can be skittish if something isn't steady, and this instantly passed the cat test! Despite having the empty box to play with, my cat took an instant interest in, and liking to this bed. There is a door and window on one long side, and a window and scratch pad on a short side. The rest is all solid, for a safe and secure place for a cat to hide or rest. There is a ribbon tab on the top piece that makes it easy to remove and is another thoughtful design feature. It's becoming harder for me to lift heavy things, so I appreciate that this is strong enough for my adult cat, yet light enough to move around easily and even travel with us. At the current price of about $30 USD, in my opinion it is an excellent value.

This is a cool cat cozy; though, I got it for ferrets (but my cats found it already). It literally takes like 30 seconds to put together, you merely unfold the house and put on the pads to their respective spots; that's it. It's pretty sturdy despite the fact that it folds (though, I wouldn't stick more than 20 lbs on there). The only thing I didn't like is that it had a funky smell when we opened it; we had to leave it out for a couple of hours to let the smell dissipate. Otherwise, the ferrets have already investigated it and the cats are also enjoying it.

Very easy to set up. There was a slight smell after first opening but that faded quickly. Cats immediately took to it.

Looking for a lightweight, quick to put together cat house,...this is it!! 3 pieces, I put it together in under 5 minutes and my cat Suzi claimed it just as quick. The top is recessed, which allows for a favorite blanket or small pillow type bedding, the interior is spacious...Suzi is 8lbs and she stretched her entire frame out and was very comfortable. Three ways in and out and small scratching pad. It is NOT wood constructed and could possibly not hold up under the weight of the larger breeds such as Maincoons, Norwegian Forest, etc. But, for average sized cats and especially kittens this is an ideal little house. I feel it is a good value for the price. It will NOT hold up under human weights...not for kids.
