With up to 500 feet range, the signal from transmitter to receiver is strong enough to pass through walls and floors. 21 ringtones to choose from and adjustable volume, max. 105dB, which is very suitable for people is hard of hearing. Work with traditional wired doorbells, not compatible with video doorbells, ring doorbells, and intercom systems.
Receiver and transmitter have been paired already.
BATTERY CHANGE:
1. Remove the top cover using a small screw driver（included）.
2. Insert two AAA batteries(not included) into the battery compartment.
3. Replace top cover using the provided 4 screws.

The item does work but it randomly goes off. The chime will sound at various times day or night without the doorbell being pushed. Very obnoxious at 3 am.

Installed easily, sounded great, worked for the first few times we tried it and were satisfied that it was what we needed. A few hours later the remote chime just kept going off. Tried resetting it, moving to a different plug, but nothing worked. Phone number on instructions kept giving a busy signal over two days and also left a text message Had to return it.

My husband ordered this for us and it's perfect to hear the door bell. I love the various music and the fun one is from the little mermaid I believe since christmas is over. Either way it's perfect ,especially if you live in a town home where in our offices we can't hear the doorbell, Now we can. It's fun, worth the money and so easy to install :)

I used this doorbell to enhance a 40 year old wired doorbell that had low volume and no volume adjustment. It was easy to install because I could not find the circuit breaker that applied to my old bell but ,no problem, since the doorbell extender did not reuire that I replace the old connection. I only had to connect the extender to a very low voltage connection. new extender kit allows me to turn volume way up and choose a variety of ring tones.

Great for a room further from the front door. Can now hear when the doorbell rings as it works exactly as advertised. Installed about a year ago & all of a sudden it stopped working. Tried all the recommended fixes but nothing worked. Emailed the company and although it was out of warranty, they replaced it. But the replacement unit was producing false rings. The company finally refunded my purchase price. It's a shame as the first unit really worked well. That's good customer service.
