Although it is accurate that the outer paint shell of this piece will fade or chip overtime, it doesn't coat inside the crushing mechanism so it couldn't be contaminating your herbs. When used properly and maintained this piece is perfect. I ordered the larger one for my friend, who's happens to be in admiration of the keif collection i have with this tiny baby.

A bit smaller than I was expecting but it is very cute and could even fit in your pocket. Plus it has the four compartments with the keef catcher and scoop/spoon.

The intended use for this product is not good enough quality for its use. Constantly gets stuck and doesn’t do it’s job. It’s cute though.
