iIt does a pretty good job with seed but it need to have a steeper angle in my opinion when it gets close to the going down toward the opening it flattens off at the edge of the tube. If you on the side of a little hill it will not flow down to the opening. The motor does good.

Good basic design and handy, but like several others have said, the spinner was binding up and would not throw and causing spotty and unreliable patterns. Returned for refund.

I put mine together and mounted it on my SXS. , hooked it up to the battery, and hit the remote to turn it on- nothing. I hit the red button on the remote and it blew the inline fuse. I went through several fuses trying to figure out what was wrong. Called support and they were difficult to understand because of their thick accent but eventually they sent a new motor. Hooked up the motor and the exact thing happened with the fuses. I called the support line again and asked for new wiring and they said they didn't have any of those (they wouldnt be able to make anymore it they didnt have any). Im sending it back for a refund and getting a 3 point spreader like I should have done 3 weeks ago.

Works perfect with a hitch extension on my Ranger. I have ran about a ton of seed and fertilizer through it and a couple hundred pounds of corn with zero issues. The remote is a huge plus, I would definitely recommend this spreader.
