I loved the design of this so much, especially as a book lover, I didn't think the smell could be that bad or that ... missing! But it is. There is a vague odd odor that I didn't like but no worries, since the fragrance, if one can call it that, doesn't last. And it is overpriced. I'm so sorry I bought this- this company should be ashamed to sell it.

It is smaller than I imagined but it has a homemade kind of look to it. Make sure you check measurements. The candle itself smells nice but it doesn't give off a strong scent or make me think of a bookstore. I was thinking it would have an old bookstore's smell or maybe even a strong coffee smell. It's a cute jar at least to sit on your bookshelf. The seller has been kind and tried to reach out which shows they stand by their product.

Good smell, I think. A smell you’re meant to sit next to. It does not fill the 16x12 room.

I have this burning now and love it. I can't say it fills the room with scent, but sitting on my desk I'm getting wonderful wafts of exquisite aromas. I can identify the mahogany and leather, but the coffee is more subtle. I love it and will buy another, larger size next.

The size of the candle is small. The scent is o pleasant and does remind me of a bookstore. This candle was a great value for the money.

Was very excited for this cande in my new apartment. My apartment is about 700 sqft. Had the candle burning for about 2 hours while I was tending to my yard. Walked in and didn't smell a darn thing. Not worth the money. Candle is also very tiny. My fault for not checking dimensions. Only pro is it has a lid for reuse and candle does burn nicely. Just no scent.
