How to iron our patches?
1. Prepare the Fabric: Ensure the fabric surface is clean, dry, and free of wrinkles. This will help the patch adhere properly.
2. Position the Patch: Lay the patch face-down on the fabric where you want it to be placed. Make sure it is positioned correctly.
3. Use a Hot Iron: Set your iron to a high heat setting, usually around the "cotton" or "linen" setting. Ensure the iron is hot enough to activate the adhesive on the back of the patch.
4. Apply Heat and Pressure: Place the hot iron directly on top of the patch and apply firm, even pressure. Hold the iron in place for 30-60 seconds, applying consistent pressure.
5. Allow to Cool: Once heated, remove the iron and allow the patch to cool completely before moving or handling the fabric. This helps the adhesive fully bond.
6. Secure the Edges: You can optionally go around the edges of the patch with the hot iron again to ensure the entire perimeter is firmly adhered or you can sew it to secure.
