I use this inside my garage, not sure I would trust it outside, very light, if the wind was blowing or it was raining, not sure it would hold up, BUT it is perfect for in the garage and the cat loves it

One of my outdoor cats claimed the little house as soon as I placed it in the yard. She was sleeping peacefully.

Very easy to assemble. Enlarge the photo to see the house better under the shrubs.

These arrived on time and were very easy to zip the roof to the rest of the house. There is a pad for the floor, and ties that you can tie to stop them from blowing away. My indoor cats love them. They are a good size for an average cat to curl up in and sleep. The medium is not big enough for a cat to stretch out so I would recommend a larger size for a bigger cat. There is no door cover to keep the warmth inside and the cold from getting in. I don't know how water proof they are if left directly in the winter or rainy weather. They would work well inside a garage or barn or other enclosed area that is protected from direct weather. A small outdoor pet heating pad fits inside and will help to keep the pet warm.I am currently caring for five abandoned cats on my property. I got these to shelter the cats during the rainy and snowy seasons. I will place them inside a heavy duty 27 gal crate with a small hole cut into the side. It should be big enough for them to fit through but no bigger. I will be placing the crates under my deck with additional protection on top and not directly on the ground so they won't freeze. I have an electric outlet to plug the heating pads into. This is my first attempt to care for this many cats so I hope it works. I will update this review.

I feed a stray cat outside my house. Getting close to him is not an option but I wanted him to have some comfort. I bought a two story wooden cat house with a couple of entrances and movement between the floors inside the house, I thought that would make him feel safe. It was outside for over a year and he would not go inside, even after I put catnip inside, which he likes. He continued to use a box I had cut an opening in. I thought I would give this house a try since it didn't cost a lot and he started using it right away. I live in southern California so the weather is never extreme so this works well for him.

What do cats do? They jump on things and want to be on top. This product is too soft and the cats can’t sit on top.
