I purchased this because I did not want to hardwire my new doorbell. The adhesive provided lasted all of three days before I found the doorbell on the ground outside my front door and this product in two pieces. And, the “anti-theft” device is just a tiny screw that can be pulled out without a screwdriver. What a piece of garbage!

This product secured my blink doorbell. It’s made out of a metal body so it’s much better than plastic ones. It has a foam padding insert to snug up the fit.

I ordered two of these and one of them battery is fine. The other one I cannot keep it charged and the batteries are quite expensive for these cameras for them to go out within a month. The life expectancy is up to two years, but I’m barely getting a month or two.

Everything about this item works really well. Metal housing for excellent security of my Blink Doorbell. Wife did not want to drill into out metal security (which can be easily done if desired), so I added additional VHB tape to insure a more semi-permanent bond. The included piece of foam helps with keeping the Blink steady (no flopping around). Housing anchors to the back plate securely. Issue is the tine security screw. Not an issue if you have the dexterity, but is if you're mildly clumsy. And don't drop the screw, as it will be difficult to spot. Best hint is to place a piece of light colored fabric on the ground when you do install this. Makes finding the screw when you've dropped it for the second time much easier to find. As well as a soft landing so it doesn't bounce somewhere. They should include a spare given how critical it is in securing the Blink Doorbell.

I bought this so that I could mount the camera on the rim of my apartment door without holes/screws. The 2 white strips they give you to hold the mounted camera are not remotely strong enough sadly to hold it on the door frame. The frame is metal and smooth so that is a non issue. I mounted it Dec 21st on the door frame and heard it come crashing down out in the hallway Jan 1st. That is how long it held. I added more onto the back of it but I am nervous, esp if it goes crashing down again and either breaks the camera or I am not home when it happens and the whole thing disappears! I dont know what a solution would be other than much stronger mounting tape than provided that is actually made to hold this with the camera inside it solidly for a very long time! I can only hope this doesn't become a constant issue! I am in an apartment building and drilling holes is not an option to mount it! I need this camera to help with missing packages etc! Sooooo, the suppliers may want to consider this issue!!

Easy to install, the no soliciting stickers are a great addition. That was a pleasant surprise. very sturdy and robust, love it.
