Works great, wish i had bought it earlier. Temp guage is a must. No drip tip heats up fairly fast will use alot of battery current pretty quikly so dont think you can use a 2.0amphr battery for long.

This glue gun really works well. I have a ton of Dewalt batteries so I was excited to get this and test it out! Will be using this a ton around the holidays to hang lights!

This work amazingly. I really like the temperature read out and that you can change the heat setting. Works great with my dewalt battery.

Been wanting to get a glue gun where I didn't have to deal with a cord- I'd always get it tangled or knock it off the table with corded glue guns. This was really the perfect solution, I already use DeWalt tools and the fact it's compatible with a DeWalt 20v battery is perfect. I was especially impressed with the temperature display- F or C I can know exactly when the glue gun is ready to use, and even set a custom temperature. Can't say enough good things about this- I wish I had bought one sooner! Highly recommend.

I’ve used this glue gun a few times, and really like it so far! I’ve seen reviews on some that leak out of the front without the trigger being pressed, but I’m happy to say this one hasn’t leaked yet. After turning on it takes about 5 minutes to get the glue hot enough for use, but that’s not a big issue for me. It’s easy to use and there’s no cord to contend with. A full 5ah Dewalt battery should last quite awhile, though I haven’t used it very long in one setting to see how long.

I gave this review from the prospective of a crafts person. While in theory, this would be a great tool, with the battery attachment, it becomes heavy for a high single use project. If you have a lot of gluing to do at one time, it is a bit heavy compared to a smaller, light weight corded guns. While it works great and has a consistent flow, it is heavy. I will stick with the lighter weight, corded units.
