It was mostly pretty easy to install and even came with a small/medium screw driver. The only problem I had was with the hinge, because the instructions weren't completely clear on which side of the hinge went where. The bottom feels more like a flimsy thin and bendable board, so loading it too heavy could be an issue.

This is a pretty sturdy hamper that has a lot of pros going for it. First, the cons: You have to build it ,and there are a lot of pieces. The black color is nice, but the coating on it came off some on my hands during assembly. It doesnt appear to have a clear coat, so I would probably go with the natural color if I was choosing one again. There are a couple places the alignment is a tad off. Not super noticeable, but I tend to be a bit OCD about things like alignment. I can't not see it. It took some time to put together - close to 30 minutes before I had it complete. The assembly instructions are all drawings. I am not always comfortable with trying to decipher the (why are they always so tiny?) drawings. Those stickers! WHile I'm glad all the pieces are labeled, I hate peeling those stickers off of the outside of a finished product. The Pros: All the pieces were properly labeled for assembly, and there were a couple extra of each type of screw, which is helpful since I tend to lose one during every assembly process. The predrilled holes all lined up, which is a minor assembly miracle. The canvas laundry bag is very nice quality, not thin or cheap looking. The finished product is nice looking and can fit into almost any decor. The lid goes smoothly up and down, and it's a good size.

This is great! I didn't realize when I ordered it that the inside clothes "basket" was removable!! Just lift out and carry it to the washer! It's also on wheels so you can wheel the whole thing to your laundry room if you prefer. I love this thing! Its added a... Rich? Classy? Sophisticated? Look to my bedroom and it sure beats the generic white plastic basket I've had for ages. You do have to assemble this, none of it is put together upon arrival. The instructions weren't exactly helpful. lt frustrates me when there are no words and just pictures ESPECIALLY when the pictures are vague at best. It took about 30 min to get it together but I did take time to lay everything out and match hardware to pieces. Its "decent" quality, not great but okay. For the price, even though it is wood, i expected a little more. The wood is thin, there are no inserts for the screws so if you over tighten even a little bit you'll crack the wood.Oh! The wheels can lock! That is a huge plus, having the basket roll across the floor when you're loading the washer or tossing stuff from the dryer is maddening. All and all it looks great but the quality of materials used should be higher for the price.

I just received this today. I couldn't wait to get it. Let's just say, definitely not worth the money. It took well over an hour to put together. It's not all that big, but several times I felt I needed a second person to help. It was really awkward to put together. The instructions were horrible and not clear. One of the slats was not glued in place. I glued it in. Another slat was split in several areas and was splintering. I glued it all back together. I didn't trust the tiny screws that came with the hinges, so I used wood glue on all those. When I was removing the letter stickers that are used to keep all the parts in order, I was trying to remove the last of the white residue, only to find out the white was underneath the top layer, the sticker removed the finish. There were a few chipped spots, so I can tell the finish is not strong. I'm not all that disappointed in this, but I really wanted to love it. Between the shotty workmanship, the difficulty and time spent putting it together and the horrible instructions, the $50 price tag is not worth it. On the plus side, all the holes matched up, but the tiny screws and multiple types needing both a screwdriver and 2 allen wrenches, which all the tools came with it, it was just too much for me to tolerate happily. It is a really nice looking hamper once finished. Now to see if it lasts.

This hamper came in a flat box, and I sorted out all of the parts prior to assembling it.Everything was clearly marked, and the different panels had A, B, C, D stickers on them to make assembly easier...that was a big help!It had all of the tools necessary included to complete the construction.Extra screws, both conventional and Chicago type were included which is appreciated... when assembling anything, it is always disappointing when a manufacturer does not add a few screws when one screw invariably heads to neverland.I did use my Amazon purchased Bosch lithium 12v cordless driver that made the Phillps screws short work. (Set the clutch on a low setting so you do not overdrive/strip any holes). The panels come predrilled with pilot holes that anchor into the bamboo, but three holes on the lid were missed in production, so I had to muscle in three screws into the lid.I purchased the natural wood option; it looks beautiful and very solid after assembling. This would get five stars instead of four if the QC department had not missed the three pilot holes on the lid panel that you attach the hinges to, that might be a problem for some shoppers.

This does look nice once you have put it together, and it’s pretty sturdy, but easy to move around. The instructions are a little small (I kind of had to guess how to install the hinges, and I just left the metal foot off because I was really struggling with how to get the last screws in). Better instructions would be great, or at least ones with better pictures, and maybe an easier installation overall. It took me about 35-40 mins to put it together. It fits nicely in our space though and will work well for us.
