Helmet feel good on head and the fact it has lights lets me not have to buy other lights as I use bike to commute to work and around town. Unfortunately the signal part of it stopped working two days after getting helmet

I needed to buy a bike helmet and I narrowed by options down to three. I ended up going with this helmet because, not only did it have very bright and clear signals and Lighting, but the clincher was that it had built-in speakers. It's the first thing that it mentions after the fact that it's a bike helmet on Amazon – That it has built in speakers. It has no speakers. Now I've got to go to the process of selecting a new bike helmet all over again because this advertisement is a lie.

Il n'est écrit a aucun endroit dans le casque qu'il est certifié Conforme aux normes de sécurité NTA-8776.Ce n'est qu'un simple casque pour vélo ordinaire avec des gadgets ! De plus il n'a aucun code de conformité pour le canada et vous êtes exposé à des amendes en l'utilisant !Je suis vraiment déçu puisqu'il est non-conforme ! Vous faites une fausse description du casque et ce n'est pas honnête de faire ça !

Got this helmet along with my new folding bike for daily commute to work, 7 mi. each way. Has white LED light to see where I'm going without blinding pedestrian. Has blinking turn signal lights front & back but the flashing red light in combination with flashing amber turn signal might confuse some drivers. I think it's better to have the main rear red light be constantly on rather than flashing when turn signal is activated. Helmet is well constructed, nice size & shape that should accomodate a variety of head shapes & sizes, just make sure that the front edge of the helmet is just slightly above your eyebrows for best frontal protection. I've seen too many riders, especially teenagers, that have their helmets almost at their hairline which won't do anything in the event of a face first fall. I wish this helmet incorporate bluetooth speakers for music & GPS navigation functionality, but I'm just being greedy. This helmet checks a lot of boxes when it comes to functionality, safety, and appearance. Highly recommend.

Hand signals are "better than nothing". This helmet allows you to be better than hand signals. A button press activates the signal and a second press turns them off. The speakers only exist to eep at you to remind you your turn signal is active--there's no automatic shutoff, so this might be a new thing for some drivers to concern themselves with.The helmet is otherwise pretty much as described. The headlight provides enough illumination to walk (carefully) around at night, and is more for increasing visibility than providing illumination. The image showing the light modes is, accurate. You are locked into one of four pairs of behaviors for the front and rear lights. That's a place where this could be improved: allowing one to mix and match those modes. There is no mode that flashes the front light.The visor has two positions it can lock into. When high it allows greater visibility of the light bar on the front of the helmet. I discovered this because my helmet arrived with one side locked high and at first thought the visor was very warped. It was not.The requirements of the electronics mean that the internal padding strips aren't as securely attached as they would be without. This is because the wire runs are taped to interior of the helmet, running along one of the central ribs, and the padding where the wire run is has nothing to safely attach to. I don't expect this to be a problem, as it is the foam body that provides protection. The padding strips are for comfort, and they exist and are attached in all the other usual places. There's just one spur of the stuff floating a little loose to start, rather than coming loose after a season.The only place the helmet has been carved out that I can see is for ventilation. The lights are socketed into the plastic shell and appear to be glued to the foam.I am overall pleased with the helmet, and hope to see more and better designs for this purpose in the future. The one thing that concerns me about this one is the lack of an IPXX rating. Given that one of the big use cases for something like this is riding in the rain, I want to know that the lights and battery are sufficiently watertight I'm not going to have my helmet catch fire in normal use from rainfall. The problem isn't that they aren't waterproof, the problem is I have no evidence that they are, or to what degree.
