For 3$ more there is a better quality of doll, this is a thin plastic that breaks easily. However the doll does everything it says it will. Doll hair is sowed in strips therefore there are bald areas, kids not happy about that. There are earing holes on doll but no accessories to accommodate, made kid feel as if something was missing.

It's still in the package so can't review fully. Looks like it will be a great gift. A bit larger than a typical Barbie Doll, but should be a lot of fun!

The mermaids are a harder hollow plastic in the tail. The little one’s head pops off very easily and her outfit slips down all the time. I don’t think she’s had a head most of the time we have had the toy. The big one is one of my girl’s favorites. Fun for bath time play. We left the rubber band and crown in her hair so it has stayed nice.

So my grand niece is four years old so I thought I should send her a Barbie. She can play with in the tub. She loves it. I’m the winner her mom still loves me. I’m the best auntie.

I liked everything about it. The red hair, the sea horse which acts as a best friend, the packaging survived the flight, lovely presentation. The 3 year old loved every bit of it.

My granddaughter loved this mermaid barbie doll, and she played with it all day after she got it!The mermaid tail has two colors of scales and when the direction of the scales is changed, the tail changes to another color. She was very surprised when she found out what was special about the mermaid doll! She also enjoyed designing different hairstyles for the barbie mermaid doll with long blonde hair.I think this doll set is perfect for all girls who love barbie and the box is beautiful for gifts!
