About this item

  • All padded cycling shorts and underliners are designed to be worn without underwear and they are meant to fit snug against your skin. This makes sure that the pad stays in place during your ride and it also helps your body take advantage of the short’s muscle compression benefits. If the padded liner shorts are loose then you risk chafing from loose, bunching fabric and a shifting chamois pad, leading to painful saddle sores.
  • Padded cycling underwear is the perfect way to transform your favorite casual shorts into high quality and performance-geared cycling apparel. Not everyone wants to have that “roadie” look walking past your co-workers in the morning and sometimes we all want to be able to stop for a snack mid-ride without everyone in the corner store eying our…outfit.
  • Polyester and nylon are the two most popular materials that are knitted with spandex to create the soft, wicking material of BEROY Designs’ padded underliners. All of these materials are synthetic, meaning that they wick, rather than retain, moisture. They also breath really well so that you don’t overheat, even when wearing a baggy shell over them.
  • Padded liner shorts typically will have shorter inseams than bib shorts or road shorts because they’re designed to be worn underneath an outer layer. Not wanting to show past the inseam of your outer shorts, liner shorts will have a shorter inseam. Additionally, leg elastics are usually used instead of leg grippers to help keep the shorts from riding up as you pedal
  • We recommend washing your padded cycling liners in a washing machine with mild detergent. Modern washing machines clean all the perspiration better than handwashing and since cycling shorts are made from lightweight and synthetic fabric they wick moisture very well and dry quickly. For this reason, you can wring them out after taking them out of the washer and hang them to dry in a well-ventilated area so they’ll be ready for your ride the next day.

These are great cycling shorts and actually made to fit a woman right. The padding is comfy where needed too. I love these and now buying another so I have a spare.

this is my first purchase of bike shorts. I'm just getting into riding so I can speak to wearing these for hours and hours. however, riding for 25 minutes/day, they are very comfortable. the legs don't ride up and the padding stays put. I wear them under exercise shorts. I hand wash and air dry. If they fail or fall apart, I'll update my review. for now, I am very happy with this purchase.

I needed some adequate pants for a bikepacking trip. I tried these and 6 other companies. Although they were comfortable to wear, they didn't offer the greatest cushion. I ended up going with the "Beroy Womens Bike Shorts with 3D Gel Padded,Cycling Women's Shorts (Large)". I'm 5'3" and 145 lbs. I tried the M and L. I honestly don't remember which size fit better, but I know one of them fit better than the other (super helpful, I know.

Pretty impressed with the comfort of these shorts, especially for the price. Would buy again....

They are made well and can be worn alone, but in my opinion they are a little short to do that. The seat of my bike was touching bare leg so I worry about chafing during long rides. I could wear these for short trips or underneath longer pants in the winter.

They fit well and the padding is works well enough. The problem is that they have a rubber band sewn into the bottom of the legs that is suppose to stop them from riding up. Unfortunately, this rubber strip seriously irritates my wife's legs, rendering these shorts unwearable.
