The overall style, cut, and material of this suit is great. However, I will say that I do not believe the suit is truly a tummy control suit- the cut is flattering, but there is not enough compression to truly be considered a tummy control suit. Due to this, I did not feel I could award all 5 stars. With that said, I do truly like this suit and am happy with my purchase.I am 5'1", 131 lbs, size 6-7, cup size 32 C and a size small fit me perfectly. If I would have went up in size to a medium, the suit would have been too big.Though the tummy control was not what I was expecting, the cups of the suit fit wonderfully and the cross-back design, ruched waist, supportive straps, and thick (yet comfortable) material make for a flattering design.I appreciate how the ruching at the bottom of the suit is adjustable and the transparency at the waist and at the bottom of the suit add a little flair to the suit that would otherwise be a modest one piece.

Apologies for my dirty house and mirror, as we are redecorating and it’s a messy mess. This is a very high-quality item. I would buy it in every color, frankly! I was torn between this and the olive, but the vibrancy of the blue is very pretty and nice… I like the overall effect enough that I think I will get the olive right away, in fact (“AMY green” rather than “Army green” made me laugh). You can see in pics, I am someone who’s naturally relatively thin (I wear a size 6, but an XL in most swimsuits) but curvy at the same time: my belly is round, my arms are large and soft, and I have a big, “saggier” bust… we can only defy gravity for so long as curvy women, lol. This doesn’t COVER my arms or belly—and, in fact, I think the ruching, since it goes up the leg but doesn’t go up the belly, rather sits below the belly (if you try to pull it up, the wrinkles of the ruching just fall back down with gravity) made my belly look quite round and pronounced—but it is sexy for them. It helped give a tight cute round-belly effect when, in relay, my belly is more on the wonky jelly side. So as long as you can own your curves, this does not fully disguise them, but does make them look very nice. Some suits will make my belly button look embarrassingly cavernous by creating a big “shadow” effect all around it, which I think makes my tummy look especially ugly, but this doesn’t do that at all… my belly button was a non-factor.The material is THICK but very soft and stretchy; not containing or “snatching” but definitely holds you in and hold you up.The straps are substantial and it’s one of the only suits I’ve ever found where the design and distribution of how straps are tied meant it didn’t dig into my shoulders and make my chest ache.I think it’s least flattering from behind, but again, that’s because I have some backside wing flaps (underarm/back fat) from having a naturally large bust. And it isn’t UNflattering, it just doesn’t hold in the back fat the same as if the straps were straight… but the cross-cross design, again, takes a lot of weight off your shoulders and chest in a pleasing way.I think the little cutout is just the right amount of sexiness while being relatively modest. I LOVE that the little skirt is sewn on and stays on, and the opacity is just right… see-through enough to be light and sexy, but thick enough that it has a purpose. The ruching can be released… I have it cinched up as much as possible because I think the diagonal is more flattering.Overall, especially on Amazon, I think this is one of the absolute best swimsuits you’re going to find. It strikes a great balance between sexy and modest. I do wish the ruching went more ACROSS my round belly rather than sitting below it and highlighting it… but as suits go, I think this is among the greatest effects you can get, and the material and cut and quality are all very very good for the price, making it a good value for your pocketbook.
